Thats not how you read it. Its the damage thats important here. Squardo also blindsided WB, but do you know how many total stab wounds WB suffered? 250+. Shiryu's one strike is way more devastating than all those combined.

Whitebeard's final attack at MF literally split the island, it was fueled by the rage of the death of a "son" (Whitebeard's entire character is about wanting a family), it was the last hurrah of a living legend. It puts Advanced Conqueror attacks to shame, the fact that Akainu took it and continued going like that is scary.

Garp was 40.
WB was 36.

Teach was 2 years old.

I think Xebec was definitely older but not much. Might be 3-4 years gap

WB was talking back to Xebec which kind of implies the age gap wasn't that big between them.

It’d be interesting if the 2 fruits xebec wanted were luffy’s and Loki’s. With luffy finally getting his main rival potentially. I doubt kid/law or Koby will ever actually catch up to him. At this point Loki is the best bet imo

dc doesn't really matter here unless you want to acknowledge that rookie Rocks and Harald had a far better clash than anything an Admiral has ever done

I do, because "rookie" Rocks was PK level as showed by that clash, so the rookie thing really doesn't fly. Also, as I have said multiple times, I think Rocks was 35-40 by the time of the Reverie and 55~ at GV.
I have no problems saying Rocks and Harald were PK level.

About Garp, other than the visuals, which was much more impressive, It's the fact that Garp's own "Shank and Luffy", so Aokiji and Koby, are both Admiral and wannabe Admiral.

And tbh Garp wasn't an Admiral himself only because of the CDs, but that was merely his title.

I think that’s just Whitebeard’s personality as a conqueror and less of an age indicator.

Like Kaido is also talking back to Xebec. Doesn’t mean anything for the age.

The biggest indicator for me is that Garp didn’t even join the navy until after Xebec met Imu.

You Just have to look at Xebec's face to see he was 40~ at the Reverie. 35 at the very least.
