The powercreep Kaido supposedly went through was so extreme that at just 15/16 years old, he could fight Prime Xebec — who had just killed an admiral — and destroy the entire island in the process. And that concern about Kaido vs. Xebec wrecking the island didn’t come from just anyone, it came from Shiki.


Xebec fought and killed an admiral without even taking serious injuries and without destroying Mg. So what does that tell us?

• Xebec killed an admiral without destroying the Holy Land.
• Kaido, as a teenager and without a Devil Fruit, fighting Xebec, was about to destroy an entire island.
• Shiki was the one worried about the scale of the damage.

And we’re not even talking about Prime Kaido — if anyone got “powercrept,” it definitely wasn’t him.

Just to give you an idea, Kaido was younger than the current Luffy, and even so, his fight against Prime Xebec was about to destroy the entire island.

With each new chapter, Kaido becomes an even bigger monster. I'm honestly afraid he might explode from absorbing so many W’s, being the biggest freak Oda has ever written.

Kizaru is a character the streets are excited to see where his character and abilities go. He's went maybe 60% into his bag and he already passive diffed Kaidou slayer Luffy. That's a great start. We just hope Oda can deliver.

Deliver what you imagined in your head, because Oda has already shown how much of a failure he is. Powered by his Devil Fruit and still can't carry himself, so stop building up expectations where there shouldn't be any. Nobody wants to see a one-trick character.

Honestly, I was more excited to see Saturn than him. No wonder Saturn overshadowed him in what’s supposed to be his own arc — irrelevance at its best.

Kaido, on the other hand, had one of the biggest and longest arcs in the series where he was the main boss, and he fell like a boss.
I mean, what’s the point of Oda spending time on someone who can’t even land a hit on Luffy?

This chapter was kind of Oda showing that Kaido was connected to Rocks, Roger, and Garp...
He wouldn’t have made that Kaido vs. Rocks fight without a purpose, especially while having Garp and Roger going all out on the other side of the sea.
And yet, it’s still a 15-year-old Kaido — that’s crazy as hell.

I mean, some people were assuming Kaido wanted to use hostages against Harald, when in reality he just wanted to invade the nation and dominate them by force.
