I don't get it, can someone explain the timeline to me? When did Shanks become a Holy Knight? After Roger died and before he met Luffy? Did he become one after meeting luffy? I'm confused. How did he meet Luffy, become a Yonko, and still was able to have a side mission in joining the Holy Knights? When exactly in the timeline did this happen? Did he leave his crew for a while to join the Knights just to ultimately decide it wasn't for him all before he met Luffy? If thats the case then why does Shanks seem so weak at the beginning of the series? I'm lost.

19 years ago = Shanks' crew adopts baby Uta (NOT CANON)

18-15 years ago = Shanks' left eye gets scarred by BB, also has many duels with Mihawk during this time

15 years ago = Shanks goes to Marijua, covers his injured left eye, becomes Holy Knight, gets Imu level 1 Tattoo, and frees Fisher Tiger

14 years ago = Shanks leaves Marijua, goes to Elbaf and meets Scopper Gaban (same year where Harald dies)

Can someone explain the harald Saint Shanks thing?

Harald must've met Roger pirates before Roger's death when Shanks was a bit younger. So he recognized Shamrock and thought he's Shanks. Later he did the same with Shanks although he did not recall it's the boy from Roger pirates right away. He seemed to have noticed it in the end, which is hinted in this page:

Both were born in God Valley to opposing sides.
