My point is that you're pretty much making up your own rules about how haki works, be it for basics of hak or "haki flowing". It'd be ok if you only presented this as your personal theory, but you're trying to establish rules that were never established in the verse.

You need ACoC to counter crazy durability, I think Burgess' DF mostly boosts his offense.

One of the biggest running themes in the series is to not get tied up with revenge, Sabo doing just that is bad writing especially since he's meant to be the more rational and mature (for the most part) brother out of the three.

Him fighting Burgess would assume nobody else can fight Burgess (i.e Sanji or Jinbe) and that Sabo cares enough to go out of his way to stop Burgess.
