Yea whenever a Luffy aligned character is around Luffy lvl or stronger Oda tends to hide it and tries to trick his own audience into thinking Luffy is stronger than he really is. Only later we find out that Oda had been protecting Luffy in some way.

He protected his image on Egghead, if you read the manga you would never know who fed Luffy. Only via online discussions and the sbs was it revealed he was at Kizaru's mercy. Oda didn't have the balls to draw that image because he knows how bad of a look it is for a mentally nerfed opponent to be staring over his immobile body after he thought his attack worked. Only us nerds would know something like this, it goes over a casual viewer's head.

Loki did though? He beat the shit out of Harald and snapped him back into his senses. He then got through a covenant user’s immortality which is a feat that no other aCoC user has accomplished, Gaban confirms it via his reaction. People really need to start reading the chapters, man.

They’re impressed by his fruit because he completely mauled an amped Harald, people tend to forget that this is a nigh-impossible feat. Base Harald is Xebec’s equal, what more an amped Harald? lol

And Loki wasn‘t transformed when he killed Harald, he just used aCoC and lightning. In the present day, Gaban and Loki pretty much confirms that he you can beat Holy Knights because of aCoC. Gaban learned this by observing Loki vs Harald.

Lmao, there will be a caveat to Loki’s capture. Oda can’t even show what happened to Kaido vs Shanks, and folks still think that he’ll disrespect the guy who made Imu twerk and killed an amped Harald. Oda wasn’t shy of making an amped Harald be a hypetool for Loki, and the legendary fruit that Xebec coveted. No shot that he’ll have Loki lose to the scrub he carried against Harald.

Oda loves Shanks more than any other character, he beat Loki clean no shenanigans
