You're not getting it.

DR Xebec, a god tier and Joyboy level character, was getting straight ragdolled by Garp and Roger at times. Bro was getting tossed around like a hot potato.

The only reason Garp and Roger were struggling was because of the passive CoC barrier.

Even if Xebec stood still and did nothing, Garp and Roger would still only be able to inflict superficial damage, because Xebec would passively cancel out their attacks. This is manga fact, you with me?:
Garp and Roger needed a critical mass of haki to overcome this passive barrier, which took them out of commission.

Absolutely nothing suggests Xebec took this barrier down himself — this interpretation is quite honestly idiotic af and directly contradicts the manga.

The point is Garp and Roger had to surpass Xebec's CoC defense to win. Not that Xebec took it down which allowed Garp and Roger to win. The latter interpretation directly contradicts the manga.

Yeah Rocks never took it down, it was an innate.. If Roger and Garp's attack weren't powerful enough, Xebec would have repelled them like the first time simple as that..

LOL I’m going to stop you there, there is no doubt DR Xebec is stronger than every criminal of all time and by far, but Joy Boy level? That’s a stretch, there is a serious chance Joy Boy is stronger than even Loki who would ragdoll DR Xebec easily.

Yeah so you didn’t read the fight lmfao, Garp and Roger were covered in blood by the time the fight ended, it’s clear Xebec was beating them pretty badly in spite of the fact that he himself was suicidal. The whole point of Roger and Garp’s final blow on Xebec was that if it would have failed, they would have lost so they poured all of their strength into one final attack.

This narrative literally makes no sense if they were ragdolling Xebec lmfao, if they were beating him to begin with then why risk throwing the entire fight in one final desperate attack, just keep beating him up until he goes down eventually lol. The whole point of that final attack was that they were going to lose if they kept up their current fighting method, so they had to lash out in desperation.

Convince me you can read challenge, level: impossible

And if Xebec would have actually fought back against them, then at least one of them wouldn’t have even landed a blow on him at all, and seeing as how both of them were required to finish him off, the fact that Xebec didn’t fight back against one or both of them is literal proof that he let them attack him. Lmfao

Cool, I never said he did lol. I said he stood there and let both of them pull off their final desperation attack, which is the only reason they were both able to land their hits on him.

Got to say Rocks against Garp and Roger did seem more NPC like, mindless type, on autopilot if you will.. That didn't feel as a fight against Rocks D. Xebec the pirate..
