Oda just slaps bandages without justification.

Sengoku and Garp did fight Blackbeard pirates off screen though.

Attack Speed means The ability that determines how fast you can physically strike your target.

And Adressing precisely that point only,
Kaidou base feats " attack speed " feats are far superior to linlin.

The clash you're talking about is far more Inferior to what Kaidou has shown to us on screen.

Speed was never Linlin forte, atleast for Old linlin. Nobody would actually require you to have Future sight for Linlin. Whereas Luffy struggled to even keep up with Base Kaidou with Future Sight.

There's AOE, which is also how Big Mom damages characters much faster than her physically. While Harald doesn't have homies he should have barrier haki like Garp's punches which can be difficult to dodge.

Whenever Oda can't justify something happening on panel he will just offpanel it. I doubt Harald is just speed blitzing Shanks and Gaban.

Again Kaidou vs Linlin was a very unserious fight to begin with. Yes Bigmom was fighting on equal terms doesn't mean she is relative to kaidou in attack speed.
They matched Attack power and Strength in that fight, they were more less static in the same place to begin with. Nothing about their clash screamed Attack speed.

Yea he probably just overpowers them through their guards with large swings, they were probably sent back flying many times. Not because an attack landed but rather blocking probably wasn't too effective. I doubt Harald landed a single clean attack.

Being unserious doesn't mean Kaido and Linlin both held back on their strikes. It means exactly that since any intepretation of someone being superior will be demonstrated in that moment.

The "unserious" argument only works when factoring other things not shown in their encounter not what we saw on-panel

That's a concession if you weren't ignorant (NOT A SHOT) by the fact that in order to even match in attack power and strength means they needed to be even by all the same factors. Since they have the same output to do Hakai means that person the necessary speed in their attack also needs to be on par

This scene is a good example, you see how everyone is being blown back. The same was eventually happening to Shanks and Gaban, like you said Harald covers a lot of ground with his attacks. Doubt he could land clean but he overpowered them through their guards and did damage.

Sengoku fought the entire BBP offscreen for awhile. Him getting his entire chest covered might be a bit much(and we do kind of see that in GV recently) but he definitely wasn´t coming completely out clean, and Teach did have the gura.

Harold's physical strength clearly can over power characters on equal footing then him. There is no "free gift" feats happening. Just context

Overpowering Rocks =/= landing a clean hit on Rocks.
So yes, people are handing out feats to Harald which he doesnt have.
And there is no overpowering anyone when aCoC no-touch is involved, it is literally a power that prevents that.

I misinterpret your position. I thought you were arguing that Harold doesn't need to land clean hits to do some damage to character. Especially to characters who don't have abnormal bodies to avoid fatigue

It could be anything frankly. Most likely caught in AoE, he ain't tanking shit from harald.
Giving them bandages is oda weird behaviour, but scar is a completely different story.

He grabbed Kizaru while he was off guard. Same Kizaru easily blocked Snakeman's Gatling and vanished so fast into the skies that Luffy, despite FS, couldn't react.
