French are seen as more arrogant somehow which can be true or false. And also it might be influenced by Americans who believe their biggest foe in NATO are the French for many reasons for instance leaving NATO during the Iraq war. It’s not a very sociologically peer-reviewed paper take BUT it’s a quick opinion yes.
They have been talking about having their Big Tech for a while now. I doubt this is happening fast. It’s alright to have their own Big Tech companies but I don’t want another jackass trillionaire just with a French flag. I mean I wouldn’t be entirely in favour but I would vote yes I guess.

I doubt it's fear tactics. It's actually a rising concern and populist demands in many of European countries to make the shift.

That's interesting to know though thanks, but ironically the French were known for being extremely brave and ruthless in the past, resilient, mighty and such lol. Ironically I've seen some people make fun of France but then praise Foreign Legion too.

Trump is simply making Europe speedrun their independence from America. Countries are dumping US treasuries and limiting deals on a global scale. The US is still the reverse currency, but it's smart thing for counties to prepare for a full cut off later down the line seeing how America does not respect them and is constantly trying to strong arm them into being subservient.
