Fair enough, I can agree with that. But Sanji's relationship with his family isn't static. By EOS, I do expect them to understand one another, with Judge being now proud of what Sanji grew up to be, and with Sanji representing the Germa flag.

On the topic of RS... Frankly speaking, I low-key hope that Franky will create an improved version of it. I mean, yeah, Sanji basically can vanish into thin air if he moves really fast, but for stealthy missions where he needs to stay in one place, his RS would've been useful (and it is Sanji's forte, to stay in the shadows and reappear later, like he did as Mr.Prince).
Also, it could help him tank more damage with no asspull explanations. And since it would come from Franky, it wouldn't be tied to evil Germa. But seeing how it was handled in the story, seems like Sanji will stay the way he is now.

Sanji destroyed his RS because he rejected the inhumanity it represents.

Destroying it was an act of commitment to his own humanity, not an act of fear of losing it.

You're both failing to recognise Sanji's state of mind changed from what it was in 1031 to 1034. He went from fearful and seeking an insurance policy to resolved and committed.

The more I think about it, the more I'm intrigued by some of you guys' idea of Sanji being connected to the Mother Flame. We know there's a high chance Sanji's flames were given to him by his mother through the drug she took, so Oda choosing the name "Mother Flame" for that energy indeed might not be a coincidence.

That Mother Flame was also properly introduced and explained around the same time PoL was introduced, which was talked about by the exact same character who invented the Mother Flame. And in the same arc, it was implied Sanji himself used PoL to do something deemed impossible against Kizaru.

Sora's name makes this even more intriguing, it means "sky" and the Mother Flame was used to power up a flying object that's most likely Uranus, which is also the name of the god of the sky.

Then there's also those SBS in which Oda talked about Sanji's eyebrows channeling energy.

Is Oda really cooking something big involving the Mother Flame for Sanji or those are just coincidences? We'll see.

It's not impossible Franky had the time to study and reverse engineer the RS before the raid on Onigashima, he had a whole week to do it and that could be enough for a genius like him to figure out how to recreate it. But I'm not sure I would like it.

Talking more seriously, one thing I wanted to see with Sanji or another speedster character is the ability to go so fast that the character is able to phase through matter. This would be useful both offensively and defensively. Offensively, Sanji would be able to kick directly into someones insides, causing way more damage, phasing through their outer defenses. Defensively, he could move so fast that an enemy's attack phases through him, imagine him moving through a sword slash. What would balance this ability out is that it takes a lot of stamina.

That's too much , Sanji can't become The Flash of One Piece. But Oda had the same kinda of idea, in an SBS he said that Sanji would have the swim swim fruit that is a bit of similar. But like I said, phasing through object seems like an overpowered DC comics ability, even too much by OP standard I guess.

The RS wasn't changing him as a person though. Sanji panicked after O-Some was hit and destroyed the suit. Later he discovered Queen was the one who hit her, meaning he had no reason to renounce the RS in the first place

I'm sure Sanji will defeat Sommers but I'm not convinced we are getting a full 1 vs 1. Domi Reversi Sanji vs Zoro should be the main course

Fully expecting Sanji to fail at first because normal haki attacks do very little damage. I hope he manages to free the captive SH group first and then get to fight Sommers as the one to stop him while the rest is helping Saul, putting out the fire, etc...
But I am bracing myself for initial humiliation, after we were told that only AdvCoC can really hurt HK and Sanji hasn't unlocked it, the beginning of the fight is going to be tough to watch.

It changed him physically. His freak out began in the performance hall where he screamed he didn’t want to be like his siblings.

The raid suit was changing him, if he continued wearing it his heart would’ve been lost. He destroyed the suit because he chose emotions over power. Not because of Osome.
