I still feel bad for Tashigi. Oda would rather create a brand new female, stronger marine in Kujaku then use Tashigi at this point.

Smoker is still safe because he's a dude and popular.

I am so disgusted with how Tashigi was treated post ts.

And after Punk Hazard, and with Smoker having been out of action for so long, I am not optimistic about him either.

PS:

I also find it quite baffling how the CP9 came back to become the CP0 agents, after they were blamed for Enies Lobby's destruction by Spandam and became outlaws and showed a more human side during their cover story, they didn't lose in badassery but it's still quite the strange character direction for them, and it feels like Oda really didn't want to put much effort into making new characters for the CP0.

Out of all the straw hats I think that Chopper is the one that’s got the short end of the stick.

Chopper has been reduced to a mascot and healing device. He could have been developed with him struggling to cure some illnesses and injuries before overcoming thel, and him working on trying to find a cure for the Smiles and/or Big Mom's illness.
