I think you’re setting a very high bar that the plot will not match, overhyping in this manner is just gonna lead to frustration when Usopp stays true to his character instead of what you want him to be.

That’s a fair point and he definitely has a pattern for that. I’m of the opinion that due to his long history of connecting with the different giants throughout multiple story arcs, I think it’s much more likely that his role will be connected to the Domi Giants.

Ussop was doomed even before the start of Elbaph. He should of already went through some serious character development, Elbaph logically should of served as the resolution of Ussop's character arc. Instead, people want to either speed run his characterization to the point that it'd practically be a character rewrite, or just give him moments of bravery like he doesn't have enough of those just to say "at least he did something". These things just aren't enough to make Ussop's growth into becoming the Bravest Warrior of the Sea to be fulfilling, and that's a damn shame.

Well I really meant is the resolution of his dream, but even then it doesn't have to be. Even so, let's be honest here. Where else would he even get enough panel time to get character focus that wouldn't be disjointed other than Elbaph? There are likely not that many arcs after Elbaph, and Ussop definitely ain't gonna get much other than moments after Elbaph. At the very least Ussop should be getting some serious character development during Elbaph since it has been built up to be Important to him.

His CoO is probably the strongest in the series, not even Shanks could compare to how long in the future and distance he was able to see
