I don't think I hated any OP villain so much as I do Super Sommers since Spandam, so in ~ 20 years no one came this close. Good job for Oda to have created such a despicable character we all root to die asap.

That being said, I am not sure how Sanji will teleport to Super Sommers as he's in a different part of the island. Also Sanji is likely to beat Super Sommers, but not kill him, since Oda doesn't make SHP kill, not on panel (even though Robin used to be an assassin and Zoro also has no qualms killing his enemies). Though it's possible that Imu will do a Saturn trick on Super Sommers after the creep takes the beating, which I am absolutely fine with as long as that piece of trash dies horribly.

Sanji fought pirates defending Baratie and expressed no reservation about "slaughtering" Gin or his friends.

Zoro killed at least 1 person we know of, the previous Mr 7.

Robin literally specialised in assassination.

Brook and Jinbe have histories as soldiers and pirates, so who knows what they got up.

I think it’s pretty clear that Sanji will be sent to deal with Super Sommers by Nami to free Robin/the children. They placed emphasis on how far they are from where the children are located and iirc one of them spoke on how long it would take to run there

Sanji’s one of the fastest people in One Piece period. If anyone can cross the island in record time it’s probably him

Wouldn’t be surprised if Oda locked it in next chapter

Tbh Super Sommers is one of the reasons I strongly believe Sanji's flame buff this arc is going to be something akin to amaterasu.
I don't believe Sanji will kill him but I can see Sanji put him through so much pain that he'd wish he was dead.
- Holy Knights feel pain when they are attacked by CoC.
- Way to put them out of service is to continiously attack them with CoC which will slow down their regen
- An undying flame attack wll not kill Super Sommers but will give him unimagineable pain of the likes he's never experience before, maybe even enough to traumatize him for the rest of his life

But I’m a fan of the concept. My only issue with it is the pacing of Sanji’s powerups all but guarantee that he won’t have black flames till the final arc/his final fight

That’s why I think he’ll get ACoC this arc but he won’t be able to push his flames past their current stage yet

There will be a catalyst later on that allows him to unlock the final stage of his unique flame ability

But Loki is so fuckin big I doubt they even noticed Super Sommers in particular

I think they’ll gun right for Imu while taking out a lot of the MMA’s

Super Sommers’ fate will be truly determined next chapter imo. If Luffy/Loki don’t cook 🧑‍🍳 him right here then Sanji’s handling him

Tbh the last opponent who manipulated love wasn’t a Sanji opponent, it was a Robin opponent with Black Maria manipulating and forcing men who love her. Well just have to see where oda goes with it, but I stand by that Super Sommers isn’t a Sanji opponent.

Sanji rarely cares for random kids and usually sees them as brats. He’ll save them, but him fighting someone who’s entire is about bullying children just isn’t his thing.

It isn’t just Super Sommers. Killingham is right there, Gunkimu isn’t very far, Dorry and Brogy should also be really close

I like that idea. It could even be a complete version of Mother Flame that would give him black flames, as the current version developed by Vegapunk is incomplete.

He's just dead set on Wings vs Dory and Brogy, even though it's obvious Oda would never go there.

Not only does Oda tend to create powerful figures in duos, he likes having his cake and eating it too.

Knights will continue be downplayed until they start fighting, even though they have absurd feats as is.

The Wings vs Dorry and Brogy sounds cool on paper but narratively Super Sommers just makes more sense as a Sanji opponent. Dunno what the link between Zoro and Killingham would be but then again I'm not sure they'll fight either

But yeah feels like quite a few Sanji fans want the D and B matchup because the Holy Knights don't seem very impressive yet. That's the same thing people said about King until we actually saw him fight
