You are trying again to jump the gun, saying it's confirmed when there isn't even a real correlation with the present chapter (the scene was about "parents", if anything, not "mothers"). And all that because of a reference Oda clearly had to have made to ten years old joke SBS .

T/L Note: The chapter title in Japanese is 「せかいで1番つよいもの」 (sekai de ichiban tsuyoi mono). Literally, it means “the number one strong thing in the world.”

The word “mono” (もの) in the title is written in hiragana, but it can correspond to two different kanji with distinct meanings:

物 (mono) = a thing (an inanimate object)

者 (mono) = a person (a living being)

Because Oda chose to write "mono" in hiragana instead of specifying a kanji, the title could be intentionally ambiguous. It can be interpreted as referring to either the strongest “thing” or the strongest “person/being” in the world—but personally, I think it's the latter because of what we saw at the end of the chapter.

Again, I have no problem with people thinking that the title refers to the mothers, even though I think it's quite reaching, considering the supposed source is:

- a ten-year-old joke SBS;
- the joke was about "mothers"... which is not even what we see in this case.
