Because Sanji vs Sommers is loosing its emotional edge with every passing chapter that Sanji doesn't get to witness Sommers atrocities

Because Killingham is physically closer

Because Sommers might get squished by Loki next chapter (although I guess Loki & Luffy will rush to Imunko instead)

Also I liked someone's theory here that Killingham is all about bringing your nightmares and Sanji has a lot of them, starting from his fear or insects and becoming ans evil Germa soldier (Sanji vs Evil Sanji would be a fun twist tho)

It's also a golden mine for Oda to bring his beloved Okamas again to torture Sanji

So I have my reasons :)

I deadass thought it was some new Sanji theory or some shit not some drama nonesense lol

Nobody is fighting anybody right now, the matchup are allover the place but Sanji will get his due no need to lose patience.

At the beginning of Elbaph I thought Sanji would fight killingham, now Sommers seems more likely to me.

Piece of advice to OP fans in general. Detach from the story, read other manga or manhwa (manhwa is fire!) or whatever else and just enjoy it for what it is.
As Sanji fans we are lucky that he's one of the main hitters of the SHs so there is a baseline/quota Oda's gotta to hit with him. Imagine being an Usopp fan :risisweat:

I'd say temper your expectations and enjoy the plus alphas that come with him ^^
Plus tbh even more so than the other SHs, I honestly think Oda puts quite a bit of effort into his character writing and there is always a bit of mystery with regards to what direction Oda's gonna go with Sanji be it who he fights or how he develops etc or his backstory or abilities etc. so there's always something to look forward to even aside from who he beats 1 v 1.

I think that @Dark Knight Sanji should take a break from forum. Maybe a couple of weeks. Maybe a couple of months. Bro, if you are reading this, I stand by my advice - take a break and focus on something else with your life.
If nothing else, try writing your own story. I just finished doing that, and the climax fight chapter was the most difficult of them all.


I fully agree with @PuckTheGreat that no one should be that invested to a story (I would add "unless you're writing it"), and that we're actually spoiled compared to other fans.

At times like these, I miss @Warchief Sanji D Goat and his relentless Sanji defending:)

I had an idea as to how someone could break out of DR and why Rocks couldnt do it. Maybe with every person Imu takes over, it lowers the Quality of the possesion to the point that someone with a strong enough Will could break out of it alone or with the help of other conquerors. So Rocks couldnt do it because at the time he was the only one under Imus control. I Say this because I see this being the way in which Sanjis breaks free from a hypothetical DR. With his conquerors and a diminished control from Imu.

Imagine if someone cried when EL fights started with Sanji facing Kalifa and being put out of commission for X number of chapters. :milaugh:

Anyone who expects Sanji to constantly kick asses, instead of having some big fighting moments here and there, stans him for the wrong reasons. Sanji isn't Luffy or Zoro, but he's more than his combat might. Luffy and Zoro have only their strength going for them, Sanji is much more well-rounded in terms of pure usefulness.

Truth is, any crew would be better off recruiting Sanji rather than Zoro, he's a more valuable asset.

Not sure if Sanji is better than Luffy, maybe not even better than Zoro.
The whole point is that, while they all do different things, the Straw Hats are all arguably equally important to eachother. Even Usopp had a moment where he saved his captain and a Warlord from getting turned into toys. Without him the crew would have ended up like every other crew in the New World where they got crushed before they could even see the finish line. He also burnt the flag at Enies Lobby and was the one to encourage Luffy to get up and finish off Lucci.
You might say "But Sanji and Zoro are Luffy's wings!", that's more of a strength thing than just an importance thing. We see no real difference between how Sanji is treated in his own rescue arc and how Robin is treated in her's, for example.
