Should Dark Knight Sanji get a temporary threadban after Elbaph is over as punishment?

  • No. He deserves to be perma'ed out of here. Time to purge this place. HAO's next.

To be honest, I don't think Sommers is going to do much from here on out, his main role is over.

These last few chapters were practically the climax of his character. We see him at the peak of his cruelty and increasingly ecstatic with happiness, to the point of blaming Imu himself, until Luffy and Loki arrive and bring his karma, saving the day while their allies witnessing their heroism.
True, it's possible he's done for the arc.

But that just leaves Imu & Killingham as antagonists. And I guess Dorry/Brogy.
It's a weak roster for antagonists this arc as Oda hasn't developed anyone outside of Sommers.

While Oda does repeat patterns, he can do things different like Kuroobi/Hatchi.
I mean Luffy is about to fight a pretty woman as an arc boss for the first time ever.

Robin being saved already removes a lot of the reason for Sanji vs Sommers. Same with the kids being saved. And I doubt Oda wants to repeat the hostage situation after spending like 30 chapters on it this arc and finally resolving it.
The hostage shit and kids shit is borderline filler though. The main point of the Gods Knights is they want to subjugate Elbaf, like the villains of every arc. Jarul declared war, so they're now ready to kill everyone in the country, so the SHP are going to need to take them out. It's pretty simple

Technically Oda could switch it up sure, but regardless, Zoro and Sanji are going to fight Gods Knights this arc

Well, with the current positioning of the characters..if the HK start attacking to kill, Sommers would get up and attack the kids/parents behind Zoro. So Zoro would fight him.
Killingham who is closer to the library would attack Sanji's group or Frankys group.

It would require a lot of specific random events to occur to have Sanji suddenly fight Sommers at this point.

In a world of long forgotten Gods, unfulfilled destiny and broken fruits, Romeo is a necessity. Without Romeo, Sanji's relevance to the plot drops sadly.

Romeo aside, I'm completely lost.
I want Sanji vs Sommers but I can't see Sommers getting 3+ chapters more as a CoC training tool. Thorns being weak to high temperatures and Luffy pinpointing Zoro to Sommers raise even more questions. Clearly there is a new role to play for the best HK, but as of now it is unclear.

Kilingham is not Zoro's usual opponent and Luffy by saving the kids took any purpose from Sanji/Nami. Perhaps the DR Dorry and Brogy vs Sanji and Zoro crowd has been right all along. We might also get DR Sanji as a result :specialmeh:
If Sommers' fate is not to be killed by Sanji, he would work great as a recurring antagonist.

Ryuma and Rayleigh don't have a story in Elbaph like the rest in the picture, i think thats the meaning
Romeo has history in Elbaph? We don't even know if he really exist in OP world. I guess there are parallels to strawhats in Joyboy era and Romeo is a plausible candidate for Sanji's counterpart, but nothing is set in stone as for we know it. In that case I'm pretty much interested in. Never liked the "parallel" thing between different eras but Oda seems set on this idea so better accept it now.

Nah, they do it because Zoro stans constantly try to exclude Sanji. :kobeha: That's why it's pathetic.

It hurts their feelings when sword swallowers try to replace Sanji, so they do it back.

mfers could be gloating about Sanji's greater relevance to the actual plot - which is an objective fact - but do this shit instead.
