This is the point hes making.
A guy he one shot does tiny damage and hes out here seeing those 5 thinking of luffys potential.
Meanwhile this is the first time hes seen zoro
He sees him with odens sword (who he has mass ptsd from)
Hes cut, dragon twistered, blocked and scarred by him and barely acknowledges it.
The scabbards who factually did less than zoro even combined got more praise from kaido.

Tbf, the "how high will your ceiling go" Panel does look kind of weird with current scaling. ACOA Luffy was not that guy, Zoro scarring Kaido is clearly a bigger deal than that lol.

just because oda didn't do a kaido top 5 panel for zoro doesn't mean him scarring kaido didn't exist lol. And all the Ls goofy took on rooftop didn't magically vanish either.

Two things can be true at once. Oda really failed at making Zoro the secondary character of the series, which is something he says was his intention, and clearly true in pre TS. Again, we have an arc where everyone knows Luffy, but the villains don't even know who Zoro is lmfao. This is 1200 chapters in. Zoro should have left the country of Samurai as a living legend of some type, certainly getting compared to his ancestor or whatever. Someone the WG and other competing pirates would take an interest in. Like, for comparison, pretty much every major villain in Nardo would be familiar with Saucegay by chapter 100 or so. Zoro is known less by the main antagonists than Brook.
Plus at the end of the day, Oda himself acknowledged that the readers wouldn't be happy with Kaido being taken out by a big punch, which is kind of true. It's not really believable that no one else could have done that, and he was suddenly unable to die, which Oda did hype up. A Luffy/Zoro team up like Kidd and Law team up would have honestly been better, or perhaps even a bigger plan involving the entire SHP that could have been built up since the start of Wano. Obviously Luffy is the MC, but Oda shouldn't restrict himself to make the MC look good above all else.

Like, it took that attack to take zoro off the rooftop. That's not shafting or restricting. That's insanely high wank lol. Compare that to the other "wing" or the other member of the "origin trio". They don't get anything at all.
Yes oda makes goofy look good at the expense of other characters. But it is not on zoro's expense. Zoro always gets his hype, respect and due in every arc he's in, combat wise. Which is what zoro's character is all about.
Also, it's very clear that oda is holding off on making zoro known to the world fully until he becomes the wss. Cause being known to the world as the wss is way more hype than being known as goofy's underling.
It's funny how you guys are so hung up on goofy's portrayal on rooftop while ignoring zoro's actual feats lol
