Like Paper said I’m leaning towards there being some sort of damage threshold that allows you to break the hold Imu has over you

We know that it’s temporary (Harald said the control over his mind would return) but it can be done

Dorry and Brogy bisecting each other probably crossed that threshold

What i in shock in is that so many people not seem to notice this what happen with rocks.
He get kill and turn back to normal only it seem he was drain from using to much haki .
Also sanji lines were fire this chapter .

0/10 chapter for the DR shit alone. It already made no sense in the story pretty much, but Oda genuinely made it worse somehow. Also, Killinghams true design kind of sucks, the Dragon one was actually kind of cool.

I have no idea how anyone can think of DR as being the climax of the arc if it gets downplayed so hard with Dorry and Broggy. It´s clearly about Imu and the HK.

Dorry and Broggy regained "control" Of their body for a lil bit, Probably because they got cut that almost got themselves killed.

Its probably the same case with Harald that regained the control of his body for a brief seconds after Loki beat his ass multiple times ( Maybe killing him multiple times too unlike Domi which u only need to die once or Loki unique DF power that somehow able to bypass Harald CoC Armor and Imu's Sea mid pact )

If i recall Xebec never did almost got himself Killed while on Domi, especially since he got CoC Armor going on.
