I don't think Shanks was lying about the life of adventure and camaraderie he wanted with Buggy. He likely didn't pursue it because he was told something when Roger returned that made him cry his eyes out - probably that Roger was dying, but who knows what else he learned. Gaban called him the "child of faith" or whatever, which further indicates they raised him with great expectations.
The way interpret it, Shanks has been on a mission all that time, thinking it was all his burden, until he met Luffy.
There was something he wanted in the Holyland. That's why he was there and put on an act of despising Harald. He wasn't interested in being Imu's servant or taking orders for the Elders. We just don't know what he was after yet.
They might be ancient treasures, or they could be the first successful uses of the technology Vegapunk rediscovered.
My guess is the latter.

On Sanji v Kiringham, I think it's interesting that Lilith is in the vicinity coz if we are going to be getting PoL lore then the setup is there.
Like I've said a million times already, I don't really see or subscribe to this "Sanji will struggle to hurt a holy knight and then unlock CoC" notion. Imo he's going to be able to hurt them from jump and then someone is going to give us a bit a logical answer on why he is able to do so (most likely Lilith).
With regards to a Sanji nerf, I'm not quite sure Oda's going to spend that much time on this fight so skeptical about it but if Sanji is going to be put at some type of disadvantage then it could potentially be by having Sommers join to make it a 2 v 1 against Sanji. Whilst Sanji is beating the shit out of Kiringham I can see Oda replaying Gaban's situation but with Sommers threatening him this time
Zoro v Sommers doesn't really compute tbh as funny as it'd be to see the zori-bros lose their shite.
So reckon Oda will occupy him with something else and maybe have Sanji take out both Kiringham and Sommers instead.

I'd have loved Sanji vs Sommers but let's be honest: Sommers got so much panel time (Sommers vs Saul, Sommers vs Robin, Sommers vs Gaban, Sommers on God Valley, Sommers and the kids, Sommers vs Luffy and Loki) there is no way in hell he is coming back again AND he gets another 1 vs 1. Also, Zoro has CoC and he already has some control over ACoC. Zoro can kill his half-regenerated body in a few pages when Sommers comes back for his revenge on the kids (and Zoro).
Sanji needs a 1 vs 1 to unlock CoC and learn how to use ACoC. And Killingham has just started doing something. We are getting Sanji vs Killingham. I have mixed feelings myself about this matchup but it is what it is. Much better than Sanji vs Queen

I got the gold Sanji from 1st try today! I wonder how long I will keep up with daily avatar updates, lol. Probably not much if I end up not getting golden or silver Sanji.
I hope this time we will get Sanji to his #3 position! No one cares about #1 and #2 because they are super predictable (which is why I low-key hope for Zoro winning), but the rest of top 10 is an interesting game.
Will Namibots keep their place or will honest Sanji fans get their goat back?
Will Xebec and Loki both make it to top 10? Will any of them break into top 5?
Which other SHP will we see in top 10?
Are Ace, Sabo and Law still the most popular even if we haven't seen them in years?

Given how easy it is to rig I doubt characters like Loki or Xebec will break the top 5. Even top 10 will be a stretch but if anyone will do it out of those two, it will be Loki. Still although Loki is an infinitely better character than Yamato I'm skeptical about him getting as much traction as she did. "Thirst Trap", "Strong Female Character", "Good Design" - Loki only has two of those and is missing the most important to a bunch of horny teens 
and even then she was 8th iirc.

Given that Rocks already had a surge in popularity, I still think it's possible for him to end up in top 10 or at least top 15, however, Loki might get higher because we enter the Loki arc and there will be a lot of focus on him one way or another in the upcoming 3 months while the poll is active.
Yeah, Loki doesn't have boobs, but he also doesn't have an annoying "I'm Oden" gag, I've seen polarizing opinions on Yamato, WG forum in particular seems to hate her a lot. Loki is more universally accepted as a cool strong ancient giant with a dragon DF. Although, he might have a clash with other fanbases, like same people probably like Zoro and Loki, or Law and Loki, or other similar characters, and thus won't vote for him that much. We should wait and see I suppose:)
I have and continue to believe we will see Judge return in a cutaway scene for some relevant monologue in which he will reveal what Sanji's intended abilities were. Perhaps he will be explicitly come to a conclusion where his fire abilities come from.
All the Raid Suits are just meant to amplify what they already have, and they're coded to their specific DNA with those particular abilities.
The Stealth Black RS manipulated light to achieve invisibility, which Queen also copied (and I imagine his plague ability has something to do with Reiju).
I think Sanji's fire abilities aren't related to his Germa DNA, but if it turns out to be so, then Sanji having the ability to manipulate photons could explain fire being the result of concentrating them.

You´d think Oda would have characters like Mihawk, Dragon,Judge,Katakuri,Garp,Doffy etc all react to the news.
Maybe he´s waiting for them to be the PK crew?
