I don't think that makes much sense, it's probably better for them to sweep their opponents because then they might think the Grand Line will be similar, get clapped, then realize "Oh, shit, they're not playing around here, we might really die if we don't start taking things seriously and bettering ourselves", and that's what makes them start to improve and get progressively tougher along the way.
I don’t agree with their decision making but I can see the logic behind them

It was cool to see but I’m not sure how the global audience would feel if the heroes we follow just curb stomp everyone for the first 2 seasons

so far the only changes that I disliked are:

omitting zoro Vs Luffy in whiskey peak

and

zoro inspiring brogy

which are not really a deal breaker....crocus gag removal also hurt ngl

s2 so far (till ep 5) has been really solid

the whiskey peak ending with mr 8 sacrificing scene should have been emotional but the way they executed it...is so bad it felt like a cheap B rated show lmao...I mean we are supposed to feel sad for Vivi seeing igaram explode but that scene was comedic AF
No way they removed zoro vs luffy because insecurity who is the new director:risisure:

Light D Lamperouge

No gold for me and I am from Europe :DeepThink:
It's probably a hourly thing, I remember the previous poll was like that.
This would explain how some people got a gold Buggy, Ace, Mihawk, Perona, etc.
Could be what Lor said.

Another thing that popped in my mind was the fact that I voted twice using different browsers.

I firstly voted using Chrome and it was just a regular pic, no gold, no silver, nothing.

Then like a minute later I voted using Opera and got the gold Zoro.

During the ZKK era, various color spreads linking Zoro to dragons were used to support the theory. Chapter 699's color spread is one of them. However, in hindsight, the dragon depicted in the 699 spread is a Western dragon, like Loki's Niddhoggr, rather than an Eastern dragon (Kaido's Zoan).

Anyway, I noticed some similarities between the 699 spread and the events of the Elbaph Arc. Perhaps the 699 spread was a hint toward ZKL rather than ZKK.

Similarities and things to note:
  • The royal emblem of Elbaph is similar to the "O" in the OP logo of the spread (two crossed axes and a helmet).
  • A Western dragon is featured (and slayed). I think the dragon particularly resembles the Dream Demon/MMA/Sleeptid that Killingham created, which is also based on Niddhoggr.
  • Only Luffy, Zoro, and the dragon are visibly bandaged on the spread, which suggests that Luffy and Zoro did the heavy lifting in slaying the dragon. This makes sense, since the duo did exactly that on Punk Hazard and considering the Ryuma lore.
  • Bonus point: they are wearing knightly armor, and we have actual knights in this arc.

Wow
Oh boy, lets hope this doesn't become popular and Oda decides to change it (if he was going this route). But all being damaged means that Loki doesn't get killed based on this thread.
We love doing this to ourselves it seems.
