the Holy Knights might be a fairly "recent" addition to the WG and the Gorosei distinugished themselves in different ways.

Didn‘t Imu appear on GV (the real Imu meaning it left Mary Geiose), then he took over Saturn‘s lower abdomen.

So if Imu did the same with Gunko, meaning Imu actually left Mary Geoise, being „beaten“ then his last statement and his conversation with Gorosei, feels redundant if he goes back to Elbaph, when he was already there
