I do think there is a decent chance that Oda won't use Loki to mega glaze Shanks.
After all Oda certainly was fine with having young Shanks lose to Harald and is okay with having him treat Mihawk in a respectful way.
Also might be a hot take but I feel like the ones who really glaze Shanks are Toei moreso than Oda.
Like Oda may have written Ryokugyu panicking for example, but Toei were the ones who had him get straight up paralysed and detransformed, which didn't quite happen in the manga (you can see him moving his arms while talking). And ofc you've got Film Red too.
That said, Shamrocks line to Loki about "It would make no difference if you were unchained" rather bodes ill if he wasn't being over confident.
So personally it's kinda hard to say as of now, maybe I'm being needlessly optimistic but still.

Whitebeard is more durable, more superhuman, has a broken debil fruit and haki and yet still was second to the man that had greater haki than him which compensated for every other stat whitebeard had over rodger.
Which again Implies how vastly more powerful Rodgers haki actually was

@Fujishiro Zoro is clearly gonna fight Nusjuro or Shiryu after Mihawk, so that kinda caps Mihawk below Loki
@Paperchampion23 I noticed that Gunko’s wings disappeared when Imu projected out of her. This confirms that the wings weren’t a part of Gunko’s hypothetical Abyssal Seal Yokai transformation, since Saturn stayed in his hybrid form when Imu projected out of him.
Either Gunko doesn’t have an Abyssal Seal and is immortal for some other reason, or the Gorosei really do just have Mythical Zoan fruits
