Hmm, I’m getting the feeling that Imu is gonna get defeated somehow in Elbaf
anyway Imu being a lunarian almost makes sense but the problem is that none of the other 20 kings are presented as being anything other than humans right?
wouldnt it have been weird if 19 kings were human and one of them was randomly a lunarian?

To be clear, I am not saying BB will kill Imu for sure. Not at all. I am saying this:
- before Erbaf, BB killing Imu felt impossible and more so: totally random. I was sure Imu would have been the FV 100%.
- In Erbaf, Oda started saying:
1) BB is the descendant of the legendary Davy Jones, the previous King of the world;
2) Imu probably killed and usurped said Davy Jones;
3) Imu fears Joy Boy and Davy Jones on somewhat equal terms;
4) Xebec, BB's father, wanted to kill Imu and take back what was "his", promised to do so, but was in the end again killed by Imu, leaving BB as an orphan;
5) now we know that BB's plan involves attaching Marijoa in some way.
With that information, we cannot really say that BB killing Imu would be random anymore. It has both the big lore plot connection (Davy Jones - Imu) and the personal drive (Imu killing BB's father, BB taking back what is his and fulfilling Xebec's promise).
Not saying it's happening, just that Erbaf gave very serious weight to something that was totally baseless before.

And he needs to become PK in order to do that. Think of it like this:
- Both him and Luffy want to become PK, its their dreams.
- They both have 2nd dreams beyond PK. For Teach its King of the World/Imu's seat. For Luffy its....?
But like I said, motivation does not equate success.
