This was a cute gimmick when it came to the HKs, but I REALLY wouldn't advise trying that slander with the Gorosei of all people. There's absolutely no reason for them not to be the real deal.
You mean besides the only problem Luffy having when it came to fighting them being the Regeneration gimmick were learning to bypass this arc?

Nusjuro being speed blitzed by base Sanji?
Nusjuro getting sent flying by Zoro?
Saturn getting blitzed and flying by Kuma?
The fact that they actually have no hype themselves and are just living off Imus handouts?

But even besides that, Nusjuro didn't expect Sanji to come out of nowhere and kick him, and he wasn't really affected by it anyway. He just transformed into his Zoan form, bit him, then moved on.
Zoro is a similar case, Nusjuro didn't expect him to come flying up to him like that. It's not like that one actually hit him, so I don't see why it matters so much.
Same for Saturn, surprised by Kuma's sudden appearance there.

I'm not even sure why these are seen as anti feats that just completely destroy all chances of them being legitimate top tiers, since Kiku ran her sword clean through Kaido's hand and Yamato had him kissing the roof of the castle in one hit yet nobody's calling him a bum and a fraud.
It's almost like villains tend to initially underestimate their opponents or something.

Garling being the most hyped of them all is a bad look since he himself was treated like a fodder by top tiers.

Nusjuro literally heard Sanji saying he’s on his way to save Franky and Bonney. There’s no “Nusjuro didn’t expect that” it was just Sanji outright blitzed him then had to literally grow a second head just to counter attack Sanji which did no damage.

Nusjuro was embarrassing. He seemed stronger than a commander, but a top tier? Fuck no.

He cut a Cloud

Only skypia sanji with a Butter knife ever heard of cutting a sky Island cloud

It's ok if the heroes gets some feat against the big bad guys. We're in the end game and it is mandatory that Sanji and Zoro are able to show off against the gorosei. Sanji in particular really did something incredible to Nusjuro (blocking his sword and kicking him right in the face), but that does not change the fact that Nusjuro was not beaten at all and was still raring to go at any time.

What I want to say is that I would not underestimate the gorosei as a group. We still haven't seen their hybrid form for example. And that Sanji and Zoro feat in particular against them do not change how the gorosei should be seen in the power level hierarchy of OP world. They are still in a range that I would define as high tier/low top tier. So pretty high for me.

I'm pretty sure the only person he got "treated like a fodder" by was the same dude who killed an Admiral

Yeah, he heard that while he was in the middle of an attack on Bonney. Sanji attacked him while he was focused on an entirely different opponent.
It did no damage yet Sanji didn't do jack shit after this bite for two whole chapters? I suppose counting chapters to see how long a character is down from an attack only matters when it's a character you don't like that much, right? Because that isn't disingenuous.

Yeah yeah, people said this same thing for Big Mom and Aramaki.

I do agree with the fact that Gorosei are not weak at all. But saying Sanji did no damage to Nusjuro is straight up bullshit.

So you agree Nusjuro heard someone was coming to save Bonney and Franky, therefore knowing the attackers coming, and Sanji still hit him before Nusjuro could even finish an attack?

That’s literally fucking blitzing

The most damning thing about them is that they are a copy-paste of each other with no distinguishable character traits. Look at every other villain group in one piece.
They are entirely sauceless. With how things currently stand, I can't imagine them as sub-fights for the Monster Trio, let alone endgame ones.

He did do damage to him. It just wasn't that significant in the grand scheme of things.
Sanji and Zoro simply can't do that much to top tiers yet. I'm not sure why their fans can't accept this, it's not like it hurts them as characters or anything. I still absolutely adore those two in terms of how they're written and how their designs are and all that, they're phenomenal characters usually (though Oda's gotten lazy with Zoro nowadays), but we have to face facts here. If they were on that level, then they'd be portrayed on that level. But Oda has kept them from having an actual fight against a top tier for a reason, they still need a powerup or two before they can really handle the big dogs.

Ok now I agree. Even Nusjuro bite did some damage to Sanji but it was irrevelant, both Nusjuro and Sanji were still in top condition after that.

I do not agree with the rest, I think Sanji and Zoro now should be able to fight the gorosei in a 1vs1 and thanks to a power up they should be able to win. I think Sanji and Zoro are still really underestimated. After the gorosei they should be able to show a real fight against the admirals.

I just need to see why this is a thing in the first place. I don't mean to be rude, but, where have people gotten this idea that Sanji and Zoro are already pseudo top tiers from?
They didn't show off anything I'd consider more impressive than Law, who was mid diffed by the one of the clumsiest top tiers imaginable.

Well for now they are not that much characterized, I agree. We know more about Saturn because he had a flashback and more panel time. I think we should wait more.

Because they are part of the main characters. Simply that. Maybe I'm wrong and now they are not strong enough, but considering how fast characters become stronger, Oda will always give them that push at the end.

I wouldn't count Saturn as being distinguished among them either. Maybe I'm misremembering a scene, but there was nothing in Egghead where they acted differently. Or let me put it this way: there is no scene with Saturn where I couldn't just swap him for one of the others and think, 'Hmm, that doesn't fit.'
The only one who looks like a proper opponent so far seems to be Garling.
