Tbh given how formulaic One Piece is, you could probably keep it going forever by fine tuning an AI on Oda’s art and writing style and then putting a capable mangaka in charge of steering the ship.

Sure Luffy will find one piece eventually. But you can always just expand the world via space pirates and keep the series going on that way.

tbh there’s too much money for Shueisha not to push it.

As Ive said in other threads

- 1200 is not happening obviously anymore
- 1300 either, its a 120 chapters away
- 1400 still seems to short, just given 220 chapters isnt much longer than Wano and we arent out of Elbaph yet, but not out of the question.

Imo, 1400-1500 is the sweet spot. If we are lucky we get 10 more years and enough of a major war that covers all bases on multiple islands. If we are unlucky it gets rushed in 5-7 years and yes unfortunately that feel like it given the sheer number of characters that need addressing.
