Did anyone notice a patern?
G5 Luffy vs lucci, he use dawn pistol (toonforce) + haki to stun Lucci
G5 Luffy use Dawn Thor Rifle second strongest move while grabing natural lightning further enhaced with conqueror haki, armement haki vs Sommer to incapacitate him yet Sommer didnt die.
In all these fight Luffy could have avoided using thse form, the fight might last longer but he would eventualy won meaning oda is doing it on purpose.
Furthermore neither Lucci used his Buffed form against G5 luffy and Sommer is now magnitude stronger than before.
Oda then put Zoro against them because having luffy use gear fight give us a greater understanding of the threat they represent.
When Zoro defeat Super Sommer he will have to use an attacks far stronger than Dawn Thor Rifle which is curently luffys second strongest attack so far the peak of gear 5 toonfication, haki and reality wrapping.
In other words Dawn Thorn Rifle is absolutely at the highest ceilling for a yonko level top fighter yet it couldnt finish a weaker Sommer so having to surpass this will be crazy.
This further tell us about the kind of haki zoro is about to use vs Sommer.
When you factor in Environment advantage with the Elbaf tree present, we are definitely getting top choreography that gonna leave change our prespective in scaling.
