So what’s everyone’s expectations and hopes for the chapter Sanji unlocks if?

Expectations:
Zeff spear flashback
Flashback of Luffy saying he can’t be PK without sanji
Sanji screams his dream of finding the all blue

Hopes:
I don’t think it would happen but I think it would be funny if Sanji bites Killinghams leg during the CoC awakening as a call back to him biting Zeffs while staring his dream on the Orion
Expectations:
- Vinsmoke Bloodline Conflict (i.e. Particualary Judge's Cruelty and the way the Vinsmokes have ruled till now)
- "Judge", King of Germa vs The King Sanji chooses to become
- Sanji chooses to become a King for the powerless/oppressed particualry someone who brings judgement on the opressor
- Amaterasu type Black Flames (i.e. this is what will kill Kiringham) born for the very purpose of killing immortals. Black Flames imbuded with CoC that cannot be put out via normal means. Expect even Zaza to try and fail to put it out. Samadhi Fire bascially.
- Doesn't seem like CoC by itself is enough to truly kill immortals so i expects, PoL to be be an x-factor and a type of enhancer that will enable Sanji to be able to do so. Also some exposition on PoL.

Hopes:
A terrifying demonic transformation the opposite of Nika and akin to Imu's DF transformation.

Im so excited about the upcoming character moments for Sanji..

After all we got during Sanji vs Queen but Sanji still has that self loathing?

You know what? I think Sanji will accept his roaylty, but not to become Germa, he will be the King of Germa, prove Judge and everyone much more than wrong, he needs to kindly humilliate them in all aspects, use Germa stuff to do what he does the best (cooking, feeding and protecting) and connect that to the All Blue.. Sanji's despise for everything Germa related blinded him to a point where, despite him wanting to be useful and strong through his own merit to the point he got rid of the Raid Suit even after he swallowed his pride because he thought someone could be saved through it (which happened with Momo) he is still letting that pride and hate prevent him from fully embracing his origins while at the same time from changing its role meaning..

Instead of a family of emotionless assassins, he needs to dethrone Judge, take over Germa and make it make sense for his ideals and kingly ambition (All Blue and making Luffy whatever king)

Shanks could be an excellent example here... When did he changed his mind and ambition?

Sanji is running from his origins his whole life because he despises them (with reason), meanwhile Shanks is willing to undercover in order to make his ambition come true, he is giving it all, he wants to dethrone Garling and thus Imu, he wants to find the One Piece to do that, Shanks really wants to dethrone the Celestial Dragons to possibly take charge and thats why i believe Sanji needs to think the same in regards to his family, he needs to picture that future in his mind

"Luffy, which version of me do you prefer?"
"A regular flesh and blood me who turns into a helpless wreck whenever i face a woman?

"Or a cruel, cold and emotionless warrior of science who can crush even monsters like him as long as you give me the order?"

Thats how Sanji sees himself currently? Seriously? Where is the cockyness and arrogancy about his origins? All he thinks of himself is: a guy who is useless against women and draws the crew back?
A warrior of science who isn't even his own self, that is ready to obey any given order even when it goes against your morals or dreams?

Can you guys imagine Zoro saying this in Wano? "Im a dumb fuck who gets lost walking in a straight line.. or someone who is going to be killed by his own sword in a few minutes? What version of me Luffy would need to be the pirate king?"

Zoro awakened CoC when he accepted the possibility of Enma killing him at any given time while fighting King, and tied that to his ambition and to Luffy's ambition at once. Becaming the King of Hell not only means overcoming Enma (the actual blade, king of the underworld) and (probably and eventually) making it a Black Blade, it also means enduring hell whenever its needed (callback to Thriller Bark). Thats what Sanji needs to do

Sanji needs to tie what draws him back the most currently, to his ambition and to Luffy's ambition
"You must become a king if you trully want to make Luffy the pirate king"

Luffy needs you as a king who thinks about the future, not as a mere prince who deep down thinks all he is worth is being a helpess wreck useless against women or a mindless puppet who obeys orders like an Ai, when in reality he has always been much more than that and he partially knows that, even Gaban saws his Kingly traits in no time

I think we are getting a Zeff flashback, not only about the stiffled spear but something previous to that, Zeff will 100% have a role here

I wonder if Sanji will have a transformation comparable to gear fifth. Black hair Sanji makes so much sense and it would be a direct opposite of the white form that Luffy has. It doesn't need Sanji to become "evil" necessarily, maybe more aggressive. But it would be really cool to switch hair color to black.
I hope so. It I don’t expect this until BBP arc

As long as Sanji refuses to fight Zaza, the self-description of Sanji being "a helpless wreck whenever I face a woman" is completely accurate, regardless of him getting CoC or not.

Even now, he won't save the kids or help the crying mothers getting beaten because Zaza is a woman that he refuses to hit.
Why? Because Zeff said "don't do it"? That's the reason? He nearly let's his crew die multiple times because of that? Now the kids and mothers crying for help in front of him, and he says "nope, can't cuz she's a woman".

He's going to get lucky that beating Killingham will cause Zaza to disappear. But what if she doesn't? What would Sanji do then?

That’s not self deprecating. Also Zeff said he’d kill himself if Sanji kicked a woman…

If Zaza didn’t disappear then Sanji would go and get someone who can do what he can’t. Like he said back in Ennies lobby.

Is Zeff more important than the crew to Sanji? Cause as it is, he's choosing Zeff's life over the crews in Ennies Lobby, WCI, Wano, and now Elbaf.

Zaza can kill any of the kids in 1 second if not for plot armor. By the time he gets help, it's too late, they are dead. Only he could stop the situation, but he refuses to, not because he isn't capable of doing it, but because of rule he imposed on himself (or rather Zeff imposed on him).

He would never give cutting ability to Sanji

neverrrrrrrrr
:lusalty: If Luffy and Zoro can get fire-based moves, and Zoro can get range and blunt damage, I don't see why Sanji can't get ranged or cutting moves.

Hell Wink with his kicks and fire abilities would have been so simple to implement

yet Oda didn’t care / didn’t want to

Sanji could have launched fire balls or shockwaves like that
Sanji 100% should've got his own version of Hell Wink he is deeply embarrassed to use and relies on his eyebrow. :kobeha:

Why should Sanji have to make a choice? He has shown that he can always find a way to do both.

No, he really hasn't.
Did Robin get saved from Ennies lobby without Sanji kicking Kalifla?

You act like Sanjis actively gotten in the way when at worse he’s just taken himself off the boards momentarily. But in the end, Sanji gets back on the board and everything works out because when there’s something he can’t do, he’s now able to rely on others. And vice versa where they can rely on him.

If the solution is "plot armor" for everything working out, then that should already tell you something is wrong.
Kalifa didn't kill Sanji despite having the opportunity to do so, but plot armor means main character can't die so she spares him, bathtub falls on him, he saves Usopp, and everything works out.

Same thing with Zaza. If Killingham orders her to kill just 1 kid next chapter, what does Sanji do? Now we know due to plot armor that won't actually happen or it will be resolved by "kill Killingham=Zaza disappears", but the question remains would Sanji still keep Zeff's code in that extreme situation? I'd like to think he would choose to save the kids and mothers over Zeff, but with this chapter it feels the opposite.
