Controversial Luffy with Blunt force damage is always going to be more impressive than Zoro with a Sword

Any and All damage Luffy does with his attacks will always be better than Zoro does with his sword. Take the Rob Lucci fight during Egghead. Of course Zoro is going to leave a Scar on Rob Lucci with his attacks, that's what Swords are going to do. Luffy with his fists and blunt force attacks aren't going to be as lethal, but him doing as much damage to his opponents are always going to be more impressive.

Luffy´s haki is much stronger than Zoro´s , so if Luffy puts up Haki defense in time Zoro is literally unable to even damage him properly , especially now when we know Acoc haki shield is a thing.

Gear 5 + 3 Named attacks + Haki used
Vs
One Attack in base from Zoro with Haki.

Guess which one put down lucci for good?

What do you think swords are made to do? They're supposed to kill in One Attack. the Fact Zoro took multiple chapters to put down Lucci was a Zoro downplay.
That's just unnecessary distraction oda makes lol.
Oda made it very clear, Zoro could end the fight in one go. Where Luffy used his peak form, 3 named attacks, with haki. Still didn't manage to put down Lucci for good.

Of course, punching through something is far more impressive than cutting through it. Luffy’s sheer punching power has shattered steel, overpowered the World’s Strongest Creature in his most powerful Devil Fruit and Haki-enhanced form, broken his horns, and driven him several kilometres beneath the Earth’s bedrock, all while generating shockwaves that could be felt 5,000 kilometres away. Its amazing to comprehend such punching power.

That had more to do with his inert CoC, as we later found out through Gaban. What happened as soon as Sanji pissed him off? It's pretty clear what's going on there. Zoro struggling without the CoC boost makes complete sense now.
