Future Events Another Lee Prophecy Coming True: Zolo and Sanji’s Final Opponents Are Among The Twenty Kings

#21
I also that they will fight the Gorosei. Many people predicted that Zoro would fight Killingham, a centaur like creature in his hybrid form, and then later fight Nusjuro, another centaur. Same with people thinking Sanji would fight Sommers and then his great great great uncle Peter. But instead Oda reversed it.
When Oda decided to reverse the fights that people originally thought was going to happen, I knew what he was doing.

Zoro fights a member of the Shepherd Family, while Sanji fights a Mythical Centaur.

So when the fight against the Five Elders happen, it will be the opposite, where Zoro will now fight a Mythical Centaur, and Sanji fights a member of the Shepherd Family.

I know you wrote about 20 kings are powerful folks. But I dunno we will have more than 10-19 super top tier at same times. It would be luffy alies with insane EOS power creepy where everyone and mother is kaido level at minimum
Momo is Oden gene with dragon fruit and going to awaken to surpass kaido going to struggle one of the king at final war.
Yeah this is my only problem with all 19 Kings being alive or coming back and somehow all of them being that strong, I have a bit of a hard time seeing more than 19 characters on Luffy's side suddenly being insanely strong.

What I do think could maybe make a bit more sense is maybe only a very select few are either alive or Imu will only bring back the ones he considered the strongest of the strong.

I do think Zoro and Sanji will fight two of the Twenty Kings but I don't think they'll fight the wielders of Gram and Longinus.
If Zoro and Sanji don't fight the Elders and they really do fight two of the 19 Kings, yeah they are not fighting the wielders of Gram and Longinus, it would feel way too repetitive and that isn't something I see Oda doing.

Zoro would probably fight the wielder of Muramasa, the sword that I believe belongs to King Ethanbaron.

And Sanji imo would either King Shepherd who might use a different weapon or maybe even King Donquixote, between the two, I'm still going with King Shepherd.

My god... even knowing one piece is going bad, i can't imagine this manga becoming this trash.

and pawndmirals can't do anything to omen gorosei.
Unless the team up happens later on after Zoro defeats Mihawk, I don't think anything like that will happen, also Lee is only saying that because he wants to trigger the Zoro fanboys lol.

Ladmirals are probably fighting the Gorosei.
While I'm not against the Admirals fighting the Elders, there is a huge issue with that, and that is Oda will barely focus on the fights.

Look back at Wano and how he treated some of the fights compared to Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, even Kid and Law vs Big Mom didn't get the same amount of focus as Luffy vs Kaido.

It would be awesome to see the Admirals fight against the Elders, but if Oda is barely going to focus on those fights, then what is the point of having them fight each other if you are not going to show the full fight, and the hype for it would just be gone.

Do you know how disappointing it would be if we got 1 chapter of Fujitora vs Nusjuro, the rest is all off screen, and then one chapter of Fuji defeating Nusjuro.

Even though Lee is against Zoro and Sanji fighting the Admirals and Elders, but if Zoro and Sanji do fight them, Oda would give plenty of major focus to their fights.

And I personally want to see the Admirals, and at least two of the Elders go all out and see plenty of focus on their fights.

Wait a minite...
...are ye telling me Zoro gonna fight Gram two times?
He's saying it's like Elden Ring where you fight a washed Radahn in the base game, and then when you purchase the DLC you get to fight Prime Radahn Buffed by magic.

So he's saying Sommers is the base game and Gram is the DLC.

He also thinks Zoro is going to strive to surpass Mihawk's sword Yoru and Mihawk himself, without fighting him.

I guess Mihawk will be intently watching like a hawk and scoring Zoro with a points evaluation, and at the end he'll send it to the swordsman committee for an extensive peer-review, before the results can be published officially, and Zoro can be legally granted the title.

Zolo will not be the world’s strongest swordsman at EOS. He’ll be history’s strongest swordsman. If you disagree you are reading a different manga. Lol

that has nothing to do with what I said, we already know that.

I'm talking about him becoming the worlds strongest swordsman first.

You have this little shtick where you like to say "if you dont agree, you aren't reading"

"Anyone who denies this is possible I think isn’t reading the story at this point " and what you just said in response to me "you are reading a different manga, lol"

As if that will somehow bolster your argument. But the fact is Zoro has to achieve his dream first of becoming the World's Greatest Swordsman.

It's why there are two converging roads here, either being WSS in the greatest pirate era, is synonymous with being the WSSOAT, because MIhawk is the current strongest in all time.

Or it's not synonymous, and Mihawk is the strongest in this current era (ryuuma can be stronger) , with there being opponents like imu leeches who can pose a stronger threat overall, like your post is saying, and zoro fighting them to become the strongest in history.

But usually when someone says this, they still add the point in that Zoro will fight them as the worlds strongest swordsman, after beating mihawk, and then they will create the distinction between man and demon, mortal and immortal, showing why imu leeches can be outside the scope of Mihawk's title.

But you are skipping that entirely, and having Zoro fight as the "not renowned as strongest in the world", when the story has perfectly set up for this to be the case. Mihawk saying he'll await zoro at the top no matter how long it takes, telling zoro to surpass him and his sword, and the fact that Mihawk's bounty is 3.59, which sets up Zoro's becoming 3.6 bil after defeating him.

Therefore making world headlines and being known as the strongest in the world. And living up to Luffy's expectations of at least being the worlds best, before they save the world from imus tyranny or whatever.

So maybe I should use your silly quirk against you, if you don't understand even these simple narrative queues, maybe you're the one who isn't reading.

Also Mihawk could be the strongest in history as far as mortals go anyway, and still be weaker than imu leeches, but either way Zoro gets the title before fighting them

I think you aren’t understanding because I was largely agreeing with what you were saying and disagreeing with @nik87 lol.

The fact is that Oda didn’t spend 30 years making Zolo the strongest swordsman of today, he spent 30 years making Zolo the strongest swordsman in history. Mihawk as an EOS fight for Zolo simply isn’t worthy, Mihawk spent 2 years training him, lol. What kind of terrible ass writing would it be for Zolo’s final battle to be against his own teacher, lol.

Nah, King Gram will be the strongest swordsman of all time and Zolo will beat him.

I don’t care and neither does Oda.

We haven’t met Zoro and Sanji’s EOS opponents yet. When the EOS comes about and Imu summons the twenty WG kings, Zolo will fight the swordsman King (Mihawk’s ancestor), and Sanji will fight the religion/science king or whatever. There you go.

There is too much narrative similarity between the Gorosei and the Admirals for Oda to waste them on the Fairy Hats.
First documented post I can find of Lee predicting Zolo and Sanji will fight the twenty kings

Since when did Lee started adopting the signature Erkan trait of using ZoLo :KizOut: Js how badly did grandmaster fans piss him off :Garp_Laugh:

Anyways it's true that fighting Mihawk is a huge de-escalation of the plot. Mihawk will most likely join as an ally and fight somebody else. He might even fight alongside Shanks

Or he could be controlled by DR and forced to fight Zoro, pushing him beyond the known limits of WSS

Zoro vs Mihawk will happen EoS as an epilogue side quest, by then Zoro will be stronger than Mihawk and Mihawk knows it, it will be formal like a teacher passing on the title to his student

It’s been a while, he’s yet to use the ultimate slander name Zoroach
Zoro fans can’t piss you off at this point, its just an insult that someone so dumb can be of the same species as you
Mindboggling how far a Zoroach is willing to take it

Ok, I can sniff those comments from a mile away. "ohhh you're scared of Mihawk's strength" blah blah blah. No, I don't really care about Mihawk, I'm only talking as to why this is going to be good writing for Zoro.

This doesn't change Mihawk's PL in the slightest. Mihawk is still as strong as y'all want him to be. All it means is Shiryu will also surpass him(yeah yeah, shiryu will surpass shanks too). That's ironically better for Zoro agenda wise too since he's fighting a stronger character.

Ok, so now that is out of the way, let's dive in:

"However long it may take, I'll wait for you at the top". This was PEAK. Mihawk giving an open challenge to Zoro to do everything to surpass him.

I mean... just look at the whole sequence. There's so much emotional baggage.

It's similar to this Shanks/Luffy moment. Shanks telling Luffy to only give the hat back to him ONCE LUFFY HAS SURPASSED HIM. Once again, great writing since it sets up a clear barrier for the main characters to surpass and creates a symbolic distance that is only meant to be passed up at the end.

Now imagine this happened: In Marineford, instead of Shanks rejecting to meet Luffy because it violates the premise of their promise, he just went back on it to meet him and comfort him? Would the future meetup of those 2 hit anywhere NEAR the same? Ofc not. The fact Shanks was willing to not even meet Luffy when his life was being threatened despite having loads of care and love for him AND his crew insisting to meet with Luffy adds even more buildup to their future meetup because Oda has clearly established they won't be meeting before Luffy surpasses him NO MATTER WHAT. I mean Oda even gives a callback to their promise.

Same thing could have happened with Mihawk/Zoro but Mihawk just let it all go to train him.

Don't get me wrong now:

1) This is GREAT writing for Zoro since it's in contrast for what he said to Luffy when he was introduced. That he'd leave the crew if it came in the way of being WSS.

Now he's putting his captain's dream above all because he values Luffy immensely as both a friend and a captain.

2) This is also good writing for Mihawk. Since this is a contrast to chapter 96 when he childishly dropped his rivalry with Shanks cause he lost an arm.

Mihawk couldn't fathom Shanks valuing something above raw strength (which was the only thing Mihawk valued). He was taken back from Shanks having a greater goal than being WSS (Shanks prioritizing the future of the world where Luffy fulfils the Nika prophecy and MAYBE cutting ties with his family/WG as well). But this time, he has character development, instead of childishly rejecting Zoro, he offers to train him because he realises not everyone is like him and people have other things to work on other than strength.

However, while this character development development is narratively rich...

...It inadvertently kills the tension in their eventual showdown. Their rivalry was originally framed like Shanks and Luffy’s—rooted in a future promise, a symbolic distance that could only be crossed once one surpassed the other. The moment Mihawk agreed to train Zoro, that distance collapsed. Their future fight now lacks the emotional weight it once held; it feels less like a destined clash between equals and more like a graduation. The tension, the suspense, the idea of Zoro having to reach Mihawk's level through sheer will and journey—all of that dissolves into a more tempered, respectful dynamic. That’s why Shiryu killing Mihawk would restore the dramatic stakes. It reframes Zoro’s path not only as a journey to become the strongest, but also one of vengeance and legacy. Now, Zoro must not just fulfill a promise—he must carry on Mihawk’s will, making their bond and Zoro’s eventual triumph far more emotionally charged.

Not gonna lie, Kiri, you had me in the first half... :milaugh:

Would it be too wild if Mihawk is stronger than everyone, including Imu leeches and Imu himself?
Or we aint ready for that conversation yet?

The theory partly makes sense but disagree with all 20 kings coming back and the weapon choices. Sanji and Zoro won't face the same weapons a 2nd time.

We know there are 20 weapons. 13 for the HK/Gorosei, 1 for Lili/Vivi, and 1 is likely for Imu himself. That leaves 5 weapons without an owner. I believe Sanji and Zoro will face 2 of the 5 owners of those weapons.

Does Imu have 5 secret allies above even the Gorosei somewhere? I don't think Oda wants to resurrect the dead, they could be Frozen by Ragnir, or just chilling somewhere. Or maybe they don't have a current owner, and the Admirals get them.

It's plausible, because I also think it makes sense Zoro has to have an EOS fight as the WSS, Because it goes hand in hand with the Pirate King and his WSS right hand man heading into DLC content.

But it can also be confusing because, I've heard Oda has a statement saying One Piece ends when the One Piece itself is found, leading it to seem like the massive global conflicts will happen and be resolved during/in tandem with the race to the One Piece.

Instead of Luffy finding the One Piece being point A, becoming PK and then heading to point B to save the world or whatever. Because of that Mihawk being involved in that race because he's in Cross Guild, automatically pushes his potential to be an EOS fight.

It could even be that, after Imu and BB are dealt with, the last combatant remaining is Buggy himself. It wouldn't be out of possibility for Oda to do something like that, since we know he doesn't prefer to go the totally serious route for a climax, which is why he designed G5 the way he did out of typical shounen fashion.

That panel in 1121, with all the main players, includes Imu in it. So he is naturally a part of this race. If he wasn't grouped in that panel, you could say getting the One Piece was more of a "mortal" conflict like the last era with Roger, with beating the immortals being the goal after that is resolved.

But that is not the case. Which gives more credence to this idea, because Imu and his Leeches are players in this race itself.

And I find it hard to believe Buggy himself will be dealt with before Imu and BB. Because that's just not how he is written, it's not surprising if he somehow ends up on top because everyone is killing each other. Coupled with the fact that Cross Guild itself is set on establishing itself as a Utopia that will stand through all the world turmoil.

So I don't see why they can't just camp, quite literally, and watch events unfold, like Shanks vs BB, Luffy vs Akainu and so forth.

Huh what? Is two piece already running?

Every single arc climax is luffy getting fucked up in serious manner or him fighting someone high emotions like Bellamy in jaya

Even what people consider "gag" arcs like long ring long land
