I've waited 20 years for a spec of lore, I think you can wait 6 month to have two or three lore drop mate. Enjoy the story and the present moment, it's beyond fire at the moment.
I can’t wait when the story hands Luffy his wins on a silver platter.

He didn’t earn his win against Doflamingo, didn’t earn his win against Kaido or Katakuri, they all let him win, zero stakes.

I know he’ll win against Imu on some BS, you don’t understand how trash One piece and Shonen in general are, worst piece of literature is this mag called WSJ.

The only ones that are slightly worth reading are maybe Jojo and HxH

You've forgotten what kind of manga you're reading. Learning to not be careless is something Luffy should have learned decades ago, at the very least when he got crushed by Crocodile during their first fight, yet this never sticks.
I wouldnt say so. After he unlocked Gear 2, Gear 3 and Gear 4 he pretty much took fights more seriously (outside of a few exceptions of course) until Gear 5 came around and he threw caution to the wind.

Nobody was complaining about how goofy Luffy was fighting before he awakened his fruit lol.

He's been building the payoff for three decades by now.
Ah, so this is what y'all mean. Eh imo I think this is no fault of the author and y'all got long running manga fatigue. This weekly format with all these breaks Oda has to take in recent times is harrowing. It slows up the pacing dramatically. I'm sure we would've already been in the actual final war now if not for that.

On top of it all, y'all frequent this toxic cesspool of a forum that only cares agendas and infecting each other with the retarded, making the experience for yourselves worse.

I can't even blame yall for being burned out. I've been decently enjoying the series after taking a break from it and this forum and reading casually. Notice how y'all barely see me in thia forum anymore?

No payoff is expected from him anyways..Oda is all about buildup and dicktease without even resolving a single thing....I bet just another dicktease....
Nah I don't think so. Sanji has had great development and pay off from pre timeskip to current lol.

I think Oda is struggling balancing the way he wants to write Luffy and the way he needs to be written, if that makes sense.

Well I've been taking a break with One Piece for years by now. Though I don't think that I'll ever fully recover the passion for the manga I had once, at least the postskip one, not since Wano, I'm still looking fondly at most preskip arcs, but my views on most Postskip arcs have become more critical now.

I agree. While I think post Wano has been an improvement overall, I think I've reached a point where I've outgrown this manga. I only read to see how it ends. Maybe one day when this is all over I'll give One Piece as a whole a reread, but for I want this to be done lol. Post Timeskip has had a lot of rough patches and Oda was a bit over ambitious with the scale of it all.
