Mihawk has no interest in fighting such a guy, and Imu's not fighting anyone who doesn't threaten him directly. He didn't even fight Roger. But at the same time, a hypothetical clash with Mihawk wouldn't last more than a few minutes until he goes into his devil bag. There would be zero point for Imu to even bother with a straight up duel.

So it’s not about “having abilities that have nothing to do with swordsmanship”. It’s about “having these specific abilities that I’ve decided matter more than other abilities”

Unfortunately for you, Oda doesn’t have access to your list of abilities that matter more than other abilities. We have seen swordsmen in One piece do any number of random things acrosss the entire story and Oda clearly doesn’t give a shit

Imu fits all three descriptions, yet few are aware of his existence. Within the World Government, only the Holy Knights and the Five Elders know of him; outside of that circle, only Shanks and a select few are privy to this information. Even the Revolutionary Army—whose goal is to overthrow the World Government—was unaware of a King occupying the Empty Throne; that speaks volumes.
For instance, figures like Mihawk, Whitebeard, and Kaido could travel the world and be instantly recognized across various regions. In contrast, if Imu were to walk the world, no one would have the slightest clue that he is the King of the World.

Imu is the strongest man, the strongest creature, and the strongest swordsman in the world—and he is far more than just those titles.

Whenever Imu took someone out, it was with swords. Maki simply aint strong enough.

2. There is No Attack that cannot be replicated using a Sword.

Once you understand these Two, you will understand where Mihawk stands.

Mihawk will only be surpassed when a New Power is Introduced that cannot be applied on/through Swords, Imu unfortunately failed to Introduce that to One Piece, what a Failure.
