Controversial Why are there still morons who think Big Mom and Kaido aren't dead?

The newspaper told everybody in the world they were defeated, too. It isn't a secret. After having a defeat announced by the news, I'm pretty sure that's it. They're done.

If either of them came back, it would be a newsworthy event. They would have to walk back the announcement that they were dead. So it's not just us you're trying to convince of their return here, it's actually the entire One Piece world.

Furthermore, their deaths have already been forgotten. The Egghead event happened and the world focused on that instead. Again, I argue, these people don't wish to debate an issue, they simply want to make statements.

Despite my insistence that this isn't what's happening, I will concede it is possible they aren't dead. I just simply think there is a lot of explaining to do if they are alive and that whatever they do from there on would be convoluted.
I hope Kaidos alive but alas no.

1. Jorul's dishonorable death and Jarul's resentment over it
2. Goldberg's Shield, Nash, who is implied to be his Dad's Soul stuck in a shield because of Big Mom
3. Loki/Lola backstory, and how Loki/Linlin met
4. Linlin's history with Elbaph after Mother Carmel Incident
5. The Giants know Big Mom ate Mother Carmel and the other kids, and the Straw Hats do not know this
6. Big Mom's history with Harald, there's now way they didn't have serious conversations over the years when Rocks, Big Mom's Captain, was Harald's best friend for years
7. Big Mom and Luffy still have yet to settle their score
8. Brook hasn't seen Big Mom's panties yet, this one is very important /s

So... yeah, a good amount.

Since Big Mom is an agent of chaos, I feel she's going to show up when things are most chaotic... so, around now. We shall see.
1. Jarul's "resentment" is an emotional argument that you're making up.

2. Goldberg and Nash (the shield) don't need to meet Big Mom.

4. Big Mom's "history" with Elbaph probably isn't as important as you're making it out to be.

5. The Straw Hats probably wouldn't be shocked to learn Big Mom terrorized them before.

6. Her history with Harald is an assumption.

7. Luffy pretty much settled his score with her in Wano when him and the other Supernova fought her and Kaido.

8. I don't need to even consider this a real point.

The only thing she really could do is explore her relationship with Loki more, but it wasn't her relationship, it was her daughter's relationship, and her daughter isn't there.

Yeah, a lot of people have actually died.

Maha, Vegapunk, Harald, Candel, Bellemere, Sora, Magnolia, Kanjuro, Ace, Pedro, Izou, Ashura, Saturn, Orochi, Yasui, Fisher Tiger, Mjosgard, Kuina...

Brook's entire crew died. Doflamingo's entire family died and he killed his dad himself.

Let's not forget all those kids and Mother Caramel who got eaten by Big Mom.

Besides, if we start saying Big Mom and Kaido are alive we are also saying Luffy, Law, and Kid are FRAUDS. Especially, Luffy because he took an Emperor title as a result of beating Kaido. But, if he didn't really beat Kaido, then he's a fraud, right?

I don't think Oda wanted his readers to start saying Luffy is the biggest fraud in the story because he got an Emperor title with a lie.

I don't have any opinion on this.
But I love how every single admiral fan is scared shit of Kaidou being alive.

:milaugh::milaugh:
It's out of respect crux, if they're brought back it's either going to be:
A face turn where they become Luffy's allies
Put down like Frieza was by future Trunks

There's not much else for them to do the in the story, especially now that Big Mom obviously isn't going to make it to the Elbaf arc.

If Big Mom shows up at Elbaf during this arc it would mean she has been stalking Luffy since he left Whole Cake Island lol

How many arcs ago is that?

Elbaf, God Valley, Egghead, Wano, Zou, and the Reverie.

Can you imagine her rolling up there and saying some shit like "Straw Hat, I'm here to take your head because of what you did back at Whole Cake Island and again at Wano!"

It's absurd.

Dude, the first time Elbaph showed up in the manga was Big Mom's flashback.

she is intrinsically connected to Elbaph, it would be really bad writing if she does not interact again with the giants
Given how atrocious her writing was in Wano. Though sadly even if she shows up in Elbaph, I have totally given up on Oda writing anything good with her.
