Imu cannot fall before all of his subordinates do, he just revealed omen and how it turns even the weakest of soldiers into elites, just revealed the royal enchanted arms, we haven’t learned about his role in void century, and the depictions of the mural haven’t played out. No matter the circumstance of how he ends up back in the Holy Land he cannot be down for the count he’s not getting assassinated back home either it seems virtually impossible. Someone like Shamrock cannot be toppled so easily off screen and neither can the Elders, so I never understood the notion that the Holy Land would be in a vulnerable position that Imu would just be killed and absorbed by like Blackbeard.

If this was primeGaban, he would have been enough.

Does Imu even have regeneration?

He seems to heal from his wounds(?), but he doesn't seem to be able to regenerate limbs or the like. Still, that does qualitatively make him different from Kaido, who can be killed(which Gaban doesn't believe is possible against Imu, not that what Gaban says is necessarily correct)

He calls him a nuisance, not a serious threat. Gaban was talking about Joyboy and all sort of things that are illegal to know. Imu has killed people for much less than what Gaban did.
