I agree, Imu might not be as easily defeated as skeptics say he might and what he's showing right now is just the tip of the iceberg.

I mean,dont you think its true? Sanji can defeat Killingham easily too,also because they will probably lose some energy borrowed from Imu now. But,Sanji has also Zaza to beat,and it was hinted the target of his fight is to unlock CoC. Maybe the target of Zoro's fight will be to better control his CoC. We'll see

People forget Luffy is the mc. He can't die yet. We don't know the past of Imu or his origins. He is just an evil guy. We don't know his race also and the surce of his powers. I think Oda should reveal that so Imu has more depth

It's both amusing and bemusing to see how little impactful and memorable Imu is, even compared to early antagonists such as Arlong or Crocodile (who is still one of the very best antagonists in the manga).

I didnt write afterwards though. Zaza is still an obstacle until Killingham is defeated.
And Luffy's hit to Imu in the last chapter may take to Sommers and Killingham losing some energy that was coming from Imu

I think it is largely because Lolda just couldn't make a compelling big bad after Doffy. Big Mom was upstaged by Katakuri, and Orochi had more character depth than Kaido.

Like, Imu should be the most evilest SOB in the story and somehow a minor character like Sommers is unapologetically more repulsive than Imu, despite us knowing fairly little about both.
