What I understood so far is

---> Sanji was born king. He always had Kingly ambitions.

---> He was mistreated by Vinsmokes. I guess this led to him limiting himself. He became More kind and sacrificial with lack of self love for himself. We know this trait of his has deep roots in the childhood Sanji had. Somehow it suppressed his willpower.

---> Zeff, SHs they made him feel loved and everything but his greatest weakness (lack of self love) stayed ingrained.

----> Iva in flashback and Gaban through his speeches + Nightmares made him realize.

----> Now with self love, he will see his self worth and value himself more. There won't be any mental hindrance in realizing his true potential. Well, he needs to be like CR7 without being narcissistic and manchild.

His nightmare is his self hatred which is exposed by iva so it appears in ivankov as form
