Do you see Straw Hats fighting admirals in future or would they be replaced by Gorosei ?

I don't feel like the admiral are really being setup for the strawhats. Fujitora is rooting for Luffy, Kizaru is probably in a middle life crisis, the racist pine tree is probably gonna be destroyed by the revolutionnary, Kuzan might turned against blackbeard (takin out Garp was probably a form of cover) and Akainu ... well let's just say that Sabo will fire him from power.

I can’t really see a place in the series for it tbh.

The endgame of the Marines is an end of series plot that can’t really have them as EoS fights, because they are overshadowed by Blackbeard and Imu.

Kuzan’s playing his own game and I don’t see Zoro or Sanji coming into that because they have no connection with him. I think his defeat will be a tragedy of his own making where he either makes a move on Blackbeard and is defeated, Blackbeard gets him first or it’s a collection of other Marines that take him down.

Biggest problem with Wings vs Admirals is that it's kinda hard to justify them going down in separate occasions with the Gorosei and it's kinda insane to think Wings will fight both the Admirals and the Gorosei in one single arc

I have never seen SHs fighting Kuzan and Fuji.
I see Kuzan will follow his own agenda (maybe getting the truth about Void Century, or stopping BB when there's opportunity?)

If the SHs fight the 3 remaining Admirals the matchups are:
Akainu vs Luffy
Kizaru vs Zoro
GB vs Sanji

But it's possible that Z and S won't solo their Admirals (so they'll get help).

I'm leaning for SHs/M3 vs Admirals happening, but i know some of my Admiral friends don't (or at least they don't support Z and S vs Admirals)

Tbh, I don't see it.

I think Oda is pushing the Admirals away from the WG. They are not going to stand for it.

The Marines are a force for good. That was stated again even in this very arc.
If that happens anyway, aside from Zoro vs. Aramaki and Akainu vs. Luffy, idk.

At this point, it's harder and harder to see what purpose the Admirals will serve...

well, gorosei sommers will try to interfere in the luffy & shanks vs imu fight, so luffy will fight him perhaps (very onsided obviosuly)

Before Wano, I was 100% sure we were gonna see Zoro and the Cook fighting one Admiral each.

Now at Elbaf, I genuinely think there might only be 5% chance tops of this happening. I simply don't think Lolda has the balls to do it.

If it happens anyway, I think Zoro vs Fujitora is a given, so that leaves the Cook fighting Ryokugyu or Kizaru.

My opinion hasn’t changed, the Admirals are nowhere evil enough to be true EOS opponents for the Straw Hats, even Green Bull is nowhere near as evil as people like Garling and the Gorosei. There’s a zero percent chance the Admirals will fight to the death for the WG, and it would just be disappointing if Zolo and Sanji’s big EOS fights are against someone like Kizaru who already outright betrayed his bosses last arc lol.

I am still definitely betting on Zolo and Sanji fighting Omen boosted Blackbeard Pirates, and two of the Twenty Kings.

But to answer the true question of this thread: Sanji is now so strong that I really wouldn’t object to him extreme diffing an Admiral all that much. He legit is in “one shotting Alber” territory

Well most still think I’m crazy, but I still think Smoker is joining the Straw Hats, and Omen boosted Kuzan is Smoker’s opponent. People aren’t ready for EOS Wmoker to come back being relatively close to Luffy in strength.

already discussed this in past. Fighting admirals doesn't even fit into the story as main villain so far.

We would need 3 massive arcs.

Personally, I don't think so. I'm 99.5% sure the Admirals won't be EOS opponents for m3. They might show up as pre-final matchups, but I honestly doubt that too. There are too many characters involved in the final saga.

There is still an opportunity for either of the wings to score a decisive win against an admiral. Kinda like how Zoro effectively fought and defeated Lucii. We know for sure now Zoro is stronger. Such opportunities could arise, like Zoro could make quick work of someone Greenbull for Oda to explicitly show the wings have transcended that level.
The good thing with SHs is they are not killer. Sanji could mess up kizaru in one arc and Kizaru would still be okay to participate in the next arc

The admirals' match ups are extremely difficult to predict tbh. Probably even the most difficult ones.

I can see a Sabo vs Kuzan match and a Fuji vs Greenbull match happening.

For a long time I also thought Dragon vs Akainu would be a thing, but with Garling in the picture I don't know anymore.

A curveball could be DR Greenbull vs Akainu, as the ultimate betrayal towards the marines.

There won't be a real endgame Strawhat vs Admirals fight imho. I abandoned that idea since Punk Hazard/Dressrosa and now almost everyone else hops on that train. Egghead made it clear. And also Wano showed that an Admiral is not needed to fight the Strawhats and can be part of another conflict/fight.

I think Kizaru vs Luffy was fan service. There might be Akainu and Greenbull. But those two need to be involved more into other plotlines too.
