Everyone is talking about 1 on 1s for the supernovas and other high tiers like Marco and Denjiro, but I think they added so many powerful allies so they can have a big group fight Kaido together. There's only so many 1 on 1s to go around, so it makes more sense to prioritize the strawhats for that and have everyone who can reasonably contribute to the Kaido fight have that for their big battle.
