Zoro has yet to face and proves that he can really deal with a YC3 or a YC2 or an opponent as strong, so a YC1 like King is certainely not someone he'll be able of matching during their first confrontation.

Zoro losing his first fight in Wano is far away to becoming true Nik and Final. Of course if the fire festival ends in a W for the alliance, I doubt that Zoro losing his fight. But let say the fire festival raid totally fail and the alliance taking a big L, so I could see a lose of Zoro and the other strawhats in the first battle while fighting later again in wano overall. Buusatan isn´t really wrong with his post.^^

He has to prove first that he can hold his own against one of the weaker Calamities in a fight before fighting King and before he can hope to fight Kaido without being demolished.

@Buusatan94 If he proves that he can trade blows with Kaido he doesnt need to prove anything against Calamities, same as he doesnt need to bother with YC2 and YC3 if he beats King right away.

He has yet to prove he can trade blows with King before fighting Kaido. Right as he is now if Zoro fights Kaido he would be demolished like Luffy in his first fight against the King of Beasts.

You dont need to beat Doffy, Cracker, Katakuri, get one-shotted by Kaido to prove that you can fight Kaido.
Kidd and Law already proved that. Zoro is no different.
He is stronger than current Luffy so he should have no issues dealing with Calamities and will be a major factor against Kaido himself.

Luffy is and has been the strongest of the Straw Hats for a really long time already. And unlike him Zoro hasn't proved his worth against a YC yet. If Zoro fights Kaido such as he is right now he will be undoubtly demolished by him.

Zoro such as he is right now is certainely far from a match for Kaido or any other Emperor, the only thing he would manage against Kaido in 1v1 without a major boost would be to get a quick demolition.

You just seem to be hating on Zoro since you arent saying the same for Law and Kidd.
Another thing, everyone is in the same boat against Kaido, all of them individually would lose.
No matter whether it is Zoro, Luffy, Kidd or Law so there is nothing bad standing out about Zoro while he is the only one who can kill him.

I am not hating on Zoro I am just not delluding myself on what he can actually do in his current state. He has yet to show how he can really put a match against Kaido when Kyoshiro had the upper hand against him with 2 swords and that he hasn't even fought a YC yet, plus the fact that Zoro's captain and the strongest Straw Hat Luffy got one-shotted by Kaido.

What have Kid and Law to do with this ? I never said anything about them and if you want my honnest opinion they don't have a chance against Kaido in a 1v1 confrontation either and have yet to compare their power to a Calamity yet either. Any of the Supernovas not named Luffy would be demolished by Kaido right now and even Luffy and Kaido's 2nd fight may end up like the 2nd fights against Croco and Katakuri.

You have to understand that such approach is just your expectation, nothing that actually affects Zoro's power level.
Oda can pair him directly against Kaido, from Killer to Kaido, what a jump and you cant do nothing against it. Zoro has no limits set so it isnt bullshit.

He was against one of the most powerful individuals for 2 years, if you ask me, he has more experience fighting a top tier than Luffy.
Oda can pair Usopp with Kaido and make him perform equally as good as Luffy and Zoro and all we can do about it is nothing but accept it.
Zoro doesnt need to prove himself against lower tiers if he ends up fighting against Kaido and he wont do any worse than Luffy.
