Going through all of the discussions about devil fruit awakening in the story, the statements are always generalized to devil fruits as a whole. There’s not a single statement saying that only zoans and paramecia have them.

Really been enjoying Nightreign. Some of the most fun I've had with a game in a long time
Might be a hot take @Blackbeard @TheKnightOfTheSea but I actually hope Fromsoft uses a Nightreign style class system in their future traditional soulslikes.
I know a lot of people would dislike losing the freedom to shift stats super precisely but I honestly think it would make all sorts of balancing better for both PvP and PvE and you could still have customizability similar to relics/blood gems

How do you find Nightreign so far?
I think it has a solid idea going with the whole multiplayer in an EG-style environment, it could've became something really unique if they built on it. But right now, it feels a bit shallow. A lot of the weapons, skills, and even areas are just straight up reused in a mini Lands Between pocket dimension.
