Well I think it’s pretty unavoidable that the scabbards aren’t finished damaging him. It would be extremely unfortunate to their story if Oda spent all this time hyping them just to have Kaido defeat them next chapter-the chapter where Nekomamushi and Inuarashi are about to reveal Sulong forms.

I hope Dragon Kaido shows more than just his Boro Breath. Have you seen his moveset in Pirate Warriors 4? Hell, if he can do something like that in the manga, it would portray him definitely more interesting imo.

Which is kinda sad tbh. Sure, I did not believe on his fake hype but I expected at least something impressive from Kaido. I simply hope he does something different besides acting like a sitting duck.

It really it sad, without a villain to take seriously its pretty tough to take the current events of the manga seriously imo. Kaido was hyped as invincible but there’s almost no reason to believe that when Kinemon and okiku can wound him.

I would understand if Ashura Doji or Denjiro could injure Kaido a bit but Kinemon and especially Okiku (hell, she did not simply stab through his skin, she straight up stabbed through Kaido's hand lmao)? Yeah, a very good demonstration of Kaido being used as a hypetool for the samurais. Not that this is bad but I have an issue with that if even characters like Kinemon and Okiku could manage that lol.

I never said they dont. I said one slip up from them which allows King to land a clean slice and both are dead.

Well, given Oden was killed by a hakiless pistol, you can argue every fodder gets to kill EOS Luffy if only he has a clean hit with the gun to his head or the knife to his throat. But the chances of a fodder applying it are next to zero.

I think Kaido is far stronger than King, even though he seems to have bad CoO/reaction and is reckless. Luffy will be ahead of Kaido in all stats bar durability. High speed, FS, very adv. CoA, incredible endurance. He would dodge all and one shot him with one blow.

That would be a very bad execution from Oda if he keeps using Kaido as a hypetool. Imagine Doffy or Katakuri getting this kind of threatment lol.
