It happened with adv CoO, it happened with adv CoA.
It is happening with adv CoC... Lower the expectations.
No single ability is a gamechanger.

Well CoC that Shanks has shown is only fodder control so far
CoC that Zoro has shown can fuck Kaido up
Everything that Zoro has falls in Mihawks lap..to a lesser degree to Shanks as well

Since Shanks himself has no actual manga portrayal for Top CoC..he is rival or Mihawk and above Zoro so he gets some benefits of the doubt

Oda compared his CoC to old Ray's and his sky splitting CoC is used by Big Mom as well
Ashura is the only use of advanced CoC we have seen.
We can't use fandom hype as basis for argument

Thing is at this point the notion of Shanks > Mihawk is absolutely wild. Zoro advanced CoC kill Hakimanship nonsense since swordsmen need advanced CoC and WSS must have most advanced CoC @comrade @Red Admiral @Seraphoenix

@ShishioIsBack stop the downplay. It’s annoying. You know very well that Shanks has the best conquerors hype of anyone alive. Jozu called it amazing despite seeing it from Primebeard and Roger. The data book had it in the advanced level as it could be released continuously, unlike Rayleigh. It’s also the only one shown so far to affect inanimate objects, with him only flexing.

I genuinely don't believe Shanks has better CoC than Mihawk. At best they have equal CoC..their grand line shaking duel was probably superior version of Roger/WB

Also that’s a non-sequitur. Just because Zoro can incorporate it into his weapon, doesn’t mean a swordsman needs conquerors haki. Is Vista not a swordsman?

I also think that Shanks will be revealed as the strongest CoC user. Though having stronger CoC doesn't grand him victory when Mihawk still has powerful CoC and probably superior CoA and stronger swordsmanship (black blade with two arms). Oda still constructs heavy parallels between Mihawk and Shanks. Even giving them the same birthday

CoC is ambition after all and not directly linked to swordsmanship. Luffy will also have among the strongest CoC.

Vista isn't a CoC user hence he isn't someone who can even dream of becoming WSS becoming Mihawk would stomp him with his CoC

CoC is not a matter of power level ... it's a matter of usage ... Roger and WB should have same level of CoC ... but I doubt Whitebeard can even do god mode

Mihawk focus his Haki on CoA
Shanks focus his Haki on CoC

Shanks did the smart move
