How do we answer questions such as "X and Y" if we think only one of them will happen?

Should we rate 50 characters in total, or rank 50 spots? E.g if I have 5 pairs of characters I think are equal, then at #40 I would have ranked 50.characters. Should I stop there or fill the remaining slots?
What BBcodes did you use to create those arena threads you made on OJ (your Luffy vs Cracker analysis in particular comes to mind)? I dislike this argument. Nothing implied Zoro used haki when he cut the Pacifista, and it doesn't seem out of the ordinary either that Sanji's DJ AP is that high.
