Rereading Alabasta really shows how much the writing declined postskip, Wano especially.
-the comedy got many chuckles outta me including a genuine laugh
-Gets straight to the point at every step
-Most of the dialogue us relevant and comes around full circle to move the plot
-Characters surviving made perfect sense
-Poked fun at certain tropes
It does so much more with much less material than Wano
