Better Call Saul's finale was so satisfying. Ties up everything nicely, doing what it does best, taking established characters and relationships and reaffirming the dynamics and adding to the amazingness of them while progressing it's own story. All good things come to an end and it's so fulfilling when it's a fitting one.
Finally caught up to Rick and Morty after failing to keep up around beginning of season 4. I enjoyed season 4 and 5 quite a lot though some episodes were kinda weird or underwhelming. The important ones still hit and were pretty touching and I enjoyed the finale greatly. Can't wait for season 6 next month.
Just finished watching The Green Mile. Amazing film, plenty of heartbreaking and impactful scenes. I always remembered the end since I saw it as a kid and it was still touching on a rewatch.
I just watched the Shawshank Redemption. Absolutely stunning film. I loved it, easily a new favourite. "Get busy living or get busy dying." I'll have to read the book as well once some time has passed, Stephen King did great coming up with that story and I hope the original story is just as amazing.
Just finished the Last of Us. Great game, really engaging main characters, Joel was terrific and really compelling and Ellie was quite interesting too. Very fitting conclusion to the story as well. I really enjoyed it.
Just finished Avatar: The Legend of Korra and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it quite a lot, Korra was a pretty nice main character and as the series progressed, she became pretty inspiring. Mako was my favourite personally.
Overall, really nice show and even though I had some issues with some plotlines and aspects of the story, it was still an enjoyable watch. I also read the comics and they were alright.
Just finished rewatching Avatar The Last Airbender and it was even more amazing than I remembered. Zuko was the best, his character arc was wonderful and I loved seeing it aga. Aang was a compelling main character who was always fun to watch. I also really liked Jet this time around despite not caring for him I was a kid. The ending was kinda disappointing in a few aspects but it was nice overall and very fitting.
Currently finishing Steven Universe after failing to keep up with it years ago. The songs are still great and Lapis Lazuli remains the most interesting character to me though Peridot, Pearl, Greg, Lars and Peedee are some of my other favourites. Currently on season 3 and while the show definitely has it's flaws, I still enjoy it greatly.
Finally got around to watching Squid Game, it was really nice. Very entertaining show and I can see why I had so much hype. -
