The revelation of Garp as Luffy's Gramps in the live action is so close to Oda's writing style that I would not be surprised if its was written by himself.
Twist are common in stories, but Oda has this thing where he always make us expect something particular as an expected twist but in reality its something completely different and most of the time a world building lore dump.
In the logic of One Piece, as long as Lilith will live, Vegapunk won't die. Remember, Lilith is connected to Vegapunk's entire memory system. Which means that she knows everything he knew.
Think about it like a doctor Who transformation. Vegapunk is not in the same body and has different manners, but Vegapunk is still vegapunk.
Do you guys really think one can make a clueless naive teanage girl the ruler of one of the most powerfull kingdom in existence and not show how things will end up.. ?
Your takes actually drive me crazy at times. But, hey, you do a lot to keep threads going. Just wanted to make it clear I don't hate/dislike you, your posts just worsen my insanity.
And my insanity is not at a good level to begin with. Hope things go well/get better for you, the world is a fucking mess right now. I know you want the world to be a good place. Hope Carrot joins and we can laugh about it someday.

Lilith is supposed to be the "bad" side of Vegapunk, but she only has a edgy personnality, she is not really bad, she is actually good. Which means that Vegapunk while knowing a LOT, was still struggling to understand himself as he didn't notice that his "bad" side, was actually is greadyness.
