The more I think about, the more Elbaph looks like a postskip counterpart to Skypia. Even got the false god thing going(Enel and Loki). The citizens of both are also very spiritual/traditional. "Stuck in their ways" you could say.

I swear current Shonen endings feels like Vegapunk chapters. A bunch of build up with no payoff, and tell as little info as possible to keep readers speculating, as if they're trying to leave wiggle room for a sequel or something. No one wants to commit to concrete endings anymore.
