I am excited for sure but also a little nervous... Even Though Holyland Author is great, Miura just had this allure with his art, so I hope hes able to match it

Only issue I have with HxH is the seemingly over the top exposition dumps when we don't really need it... But other than that, it's an entertaining read... I'd still put berserk over it though

There's that, but I'm mostly alluding to the fact that Oda didn't really flesh out their characters enough for me to care... Ashura Douji is especially jarring bc he potential to be a favorite in this arc bc of his survivors guilt storyline that never got expanded.

I'm so hyped Berserk is coming back 😩 And I hope Togashi stays healthy

I agree. Even if I support Yamato for Nakama, she really missed that character defining moment Oda usually would give to those joining.

So much character assassinations and plot threads pissed down the drain.

So Oda straight up ending the arc like this? And revising the final arc to fit his timeline? Welp... At this point, it's probably gonna be like Naruto and Bleach then. Oh well

I agree with this, my issue stems from Oda not investing more time into these individual characters for us, the readers to care about them.

Looking back on it, the Ashura and Izo scenes definitely are death scenes but I just don't care about the characters to feel anything lol
