Oda hasn't exactly established a force weaker than HKs that aren't fodder (vice admirals) for the WG.
WG is basically Admirals, Gorosei, HK, and only HK seem like they could be at a level for mid/weak trio to beat had it not been for the sudden coc requirement.
Despite his role being chef, he constantly competes with Zoro who wants to be WSS and isn't satisfied with his bounty being lower than Jimbe and Zoro's.
So even 1b bounty isn't enough for him. Why does he want to keep getting stronger rather than hang with the mid and weak trios?
Clearly he...
Prior to this chapter I assumed in the final war while M3 faced Gorosei and Imu, the others would deal with the HK.
We even had Chopper run down to learn the secrets in dealing with the immortality.
But now it turns out anyone not born with CoC can't do shit. So even this arc they cant do...
Honestly I like the idea of Sanji getting a unique Power of Love power up over acoc.
1 major reason is cause acoc and also ifrit jambe look boring and basically the same as their weaker versions acoa and diable jambe in a b/w Manga.
But also Oda hasn't given Sanji meaningful haki powerups all...
In WCI, people bitched at Sanji for choosing Zeff over the crew while Zeff was in danger of assassination...
But here we have Luffy choosing just to hear a story about Shanks while his crew is dying?
Ugh. I forgot about this. This flashbacks gonna take a year.
All to change Hajrudin's opinion of Loki?
I fully support Imu killing Hajrudin after this.
The dream is for a fight to happen onscreen.
Not like Egghead climax where we get 1 kick/punch/sword swing every 5 chapters. But an actual proper fight.
Problem is Oda's storytelling isn't good and it gets dragged out. The Kuma + Bonney flashback seems so pointless now yet took up 8 chapters. And then 15 chapters of Vegapunk speech after that. Then Oda immediately sidelined them the arc was over.
