Holy caps lock.
But yeah, hard to imagine Zoro having his own arc when the author doesn't give a shit about the guy outside of fights, and even that's questionable.
If Mihawk winds up legitimately preventing Luffy from the One Piece or attempts to prevent Luffy from, I dunno, beating the World Government, Zoro will fight him for around 3-4 chapters.
If Mihawk has the same relevance he currently has, it'll last a few pages if not straight up off...
You've been reading a different manga if you don't think that Oda will make sure that Luffy practically becomes a god that surpasses all once the story ends.
Depends on who Sakazuki is as a character.
Is he a loyal obedient dog of the World Government? Sabo will likely defeat him.
Is he a mad dog that is willing to exterminate even the Gods to fulfill his sense of justice? Luffy will beat him.
My dream is that when the One Piece is revealed and the truth about the everything the WG has done comes to light, Sakazuki will reach a breaking point and lead a military coup, overthrow/exterminate the Celestial Dragons, kill Kong, become Commander in Chief and lead an incredibly violent...
Mihawk is not plot relevant and Oda doesn't care that much about Zoro, so don't be surprised to see it offscreened, if the fight even happens to begin with.
I strongly doubt that Oda would dedicate an entire arc to Sanji if he really hated him.
As far as the Monster Three go, Zoro is pretty clearly the one Oda cares about the least at this point.
It's your third option.
He doesn't hate him.
He just has no interest in developing his character, or give him meaningful/irreplaceable feats. It's been like that since Thriller Bark.
It's easier to give him "cool" stoic one-liners and generic sword slash splash pages as opposed to properly...
•What did you think of Supernovas' Rooftop performance against Yonkous?
I came away with thinking that it should have just been the 3 captains instead of including Zoro/Killer, they felt like filler to me. Killer had visually impressive but ultimately insignificant attacks and Zoro slightly...
Realistically:
1) Joins Shanks and fights Zoro while the the Strawhats battle with the Red Hair Pirates (Davy Back or whatever)
2) Joins Buggy cuz lulz
3) Off-screened defeat/death by Shiryu
4) Post Laugh Tale/Epilogue fight with Zoro where 98% of the fight is off-screened and lasts around a...
It's not even gags I'm worried about, its the convenient powerups/situational circumstances and general Plot induced stupidity that Oda creates so the good guys can win. Even Enies Lobby had that but Onigashima turned all that up to 100.
Ultimately I hope you're right but I'm keeping my...
The Admirals have been good antagonists, but I have my doubts that they will fare much better when they clash with Luffy in the near future.
The main reason being that in the past the Admirals were written as insurmountable walls the Strawhats could not compete with and were forced to either...
