Devil fruits and technology are way cooler than haki
Oda knows that, thats why Luffy only beat Kaido through awakening.
Yes i remember Kaido saying that haki surpasses everything else, but are we really going to listen to that fucking loser? Lol
My interpretation of Greenbull introduction is that Sanji and Zoro will fight Admirals.
Basically it says "this guys are way stronger than commanders, so when our protagonists clash with then you need to feel the tension"
I mean, everyone knows that Luffy-Law-Kid can at least beat Greenbull...
PTS Robin sounds weird tbh
Most of her dialogue have this goth woman stereotype that don't sound nothing like her character pre time skip
People are pointing out the Zoro cringe "king of hell", and thats actually a fitting comparison, because PTS Zoro have the exactly same problem as Robin
Oda is a master of the "tell, not show". Even If he failled miserably in portray Kidd and Law as pirates in the same level as Luffy, you can be certain that both of them will still be relevant after Wano as the leading pirates of the new era.
Thats why no matter how much people keep saying shit...
There's only two times i laughed on the post time skip chapters:
1) After Fishman Island there's a chapter with the crew chilling while going to the New World, that was a very funny chapter
2) When the Dressrosa crew reached Zou there's this gag with the dragon drawing Kanjurou made that makes...
TBH Big Mom fight was the only one with tension, even if Oda didnt show that on page.
It was the only wild card. After the strawhats destroyed the tobiroppo, Sanji and Zoro fights become obvious. Luffy of course wont lose.
Kid and Law were the only ones who could fail, because they were...
I know what you mean and is kinda lame that Oda don't understand the impact of a death for the story, when fucking Kaido whole ideology is about this.
Pound is a stupid side character but when he "died" was one of the most iconic moments of WCI. And of course, now Is ruined because Oda revived...
The fact that Kaido seeks death means he will not get it. He's a villan, he should not reach his dreams. That's what Oda does and that's why Luffy will be the one tô beat him.
