But here is the thing man I already did. I agreed with you from jump that this is shit writing, Just that it's not an asspull that's all. My comments are there for you to re-read if you please man. And this has nothing to do with you liking Zoro because I like him too; defended him before on...
It literally took me about a minute to find those because of how much of a zoro fanatic you are. Look man you may not realize it but those things you said are as clear as day, try to dodge them but the intention is clear. You have no issues in believing the possibility of Zoro tanking Hakai, but...
"I hope the hell Zoro failed to block that attack because holy shit if he ends up tanking an attack from two emperors together that'll be the most GOAT shit on the rooftop"...….This was one of your posts from not too long ago...….please stop putting on this front man please it's embarrassing...
If Luffy developed the ability to use flowing Ryou on the spot then yes it is an asspull, but he used something he already had and was explained to us but just applied it to Kings. It is horrendously bad writing but does not qualify to being an asspull. He applied the same formula to a different...
It's not pulled out of thin air when there is an explanation, but it is very weak writing. An asspulll in this situation would be that Luffy unlocks it just because without the preestablished concept of flowing ryou that he applied, but with that there it exempts it from being an asspull rather...
Damn people were serious with rooftop level?.....I genuinely believed it was like a meme or something. Well the people who really thought Killer (who I have nothing against) would somehow end up looking better than a main character (Sanji) baffles my mind. They got caught up in the hype and...
Lol you think when Sanji flat lines a calamity he will be given any credit?. People are already talking about folks "midd-diffing" first and second commanders like it's normal. Early raid it was Zoro extreme diff King, some even said it would be a 2v1, skip a couple chapters and apparently every...
Well if Luffy surpasses Kaido in this Arc then the implications of that on the next couple years of the story and the crew power dynamic is terrible. Luffy may still get some help in fighting Kaido down the line so we don't really know what level he will achieve by the end but we can safely...
I believe Oda intends for Luffy to leave Wano stronger than any right hand or first yonko commander but still under the Yonkos and Admirals. The next 5 years of the story will be Luffy scaling that mountain to finally be able to stand up to them by himself.
No I completely understand that, I would have just wished for a more creative and cohesive way to tell that same story.

No problem we can all learn from each other here :)
Oh ya I am not arguing about that specifically just the point about the technical term of plot contrivance. You and I both know that one piece isn't a Shakespearean work of fiction Lol it's just a above average action Shonen manga there to appeal to young boys, so ya ridiculous power jumps are...
No of course I never looked at one piece power scaling beyond what it actually is. Oda does what he wants and I know this but (and i believe this has been adressed before) Oda stated that the solution for how Luffy will defeat Kaido will be more than just what essentially is a "serious serious...
I think this reaction is simply because of unmet expectations. Back when EL happened there was no major build up to that arc, Wano has been built up for over a decade and this is pretty much the gateway arc to the endgame so people expected Oda to bring his A-game pen wise...
This is not about subjective or objective, I am explaining something that is non-debatable linguistically to address the claim that plot contrivances can't exist in fiction which is a claim I have never heard before in my life.

This also has nothing to do with one piece at all, I am...
Asspull really is just a slang term for plot contrivance, so yes fiction has plot contrivances because plot refers to the sequence of events in a novel, comic or play. The usage of plot in plot contrivance is referring to a stories events so that's linguistically untrue.
I am not downplaying I said he saved them and if he saved Luffy too that's fine but he didn't take the full thing how many times do I need to repeat this shit. I am not downplaying the guy by saying he needed to be saved by an attack that would have killed all the supernovas if it hit.
But I already gave you all the evidence you need to agree with my point and still you don't so just turn to you fellow zoro fan who thinks the opposite because he wont have a bias like me apparently right?.
I simply put luffy as the exception because he has future sight but he may have also saved him too I have no problem that being the case but it's obvious zoro didn't take the full attack that's my point.
